Hold on tight: the adventure begins at the edge of the cliff.
Ascend from the bottom of the Mascún canyon to the top of Rodellar in one of the most accessible aerial ferratas. The via ferrata Espolón de la Virgen combines vertical steps, horizontal sections, exposed ridges and views of the mythical Guara dolphin. No previous experience is necessary, just the desire to defy vertigo and live the adventure.

What we will do
The appointment will be at the meeting point in Rodellar, 10 minutes before the booking time.
From there we will start a circular route that will take us to experience one of the most spectacular ferratas in the Sierra de Guara. The approach route takes about 30 minutes and will take us to the Mascún canyon. We will cross the riverbed several times and make a brief stop at the Mascún spring to fill up with water before reaching the start of the route.
The via ferrata begins with a 30-metre vertical wall and a 7-metre aerial passage, ideal for experiencing the altitude from the very first moment. From there, the route alternates between vertical steps and horizontal traverses, always secured to the life line and with natural points of support on the rock. As we ascend, the views of the canyon and the characteristic"Guara dolphin" will constantly accompany us.
The most impressive point of the route is the spur that gives it its name: a rock ridge that projects into the void . This will be our most aerial pass, helped by clamps, we will overcome the vertigo with impressive views as a reward. After overcoming it, we will pass through an interior channel equipped with a chain that will allow us to finish the first section.
We will walk a few metres to the second section, which will take us through afinal ascent to the hermitage of the Virgin, located at the top of the canyon. From here we will enjoy an incomparable panoramic view of Rodellar in the distance and, if we are lucky, some mountain goats waving at us.
The return to Rodellar is a 30-minute walk along a panoramic path.
The total duration of the activity is approximately 3 hours, of which 1 hour is spent on the ferrata.
Who it is aimed at
The activity does not require experience and is suitable for children aged 11 and over.
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The maximum weight for the via ferrata is 120 kg.
The experience is not suitable for pregnant women, people with severe vertigo or motor disabilities. It will be necessary to inform the guide in advance of any other injuries or medical problems. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.

The activity is available from March to November and is confirmed if a minimum group of 2 people is reached.
Before the day of the activity you will need to provide the guide with the following information: name, age, weight and height. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
Please note that you will be in the middle of nature and there is no area to change or leave personal belongings.
It is not advisable to carry mobile phones or other electronic devices during the activity. The guide will take photos of the experience to share with all participants.
Accompanying persons who do not participate may wait in the surrounding area, but there is no designated area.
Free parking is available at the meeting point . The area cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
