Between the ground and the sky there is an intermediate point: the Via Ferrata de La Hermida.
Experience a guided adventure of 4 to 5 hours between vertical walls, 2 exciting bridges and incredible views of the valley and the Picos de Europa. A safe and exciting experience. Perfect for those who are looking for a challenge with a lot of adrenaline.
What we will do
We will meet at the agreed time in La Hermida, in the town of Peñarrubia, where we will meet our guide, we will be given the equipment - harness , helmet, gloves and dissipator - and we will be explained the essentials before we start.
Once ready, we will walk a few minutes to the start of the via ferrata and the adventure will begin. The Via Ferrata de La Hermida is one of the most spectacular in the north, with vertical sections, aerial areas and 2 very exciting bridges, including a 95-metre suspension bridge . We will progress always secured to the lifeline, combining clamps, steps and steps on the rock.
During the tour we can choose between the more gentle route or the more demanding integral section, with vertical sections that offer incredible views of the valley of La Hermida and the Picos de Europa. The guide will accompany us at all times, helping us to overcome the most technical parts and ensuring the experience of the group.
We will overcome a difference in altitude of around 700 metres, and when we reach the top, we will take a short break to enjoy the scenery before taking the path back to the meeting point.
In total, there will be 4 to 5 hours of activity, between preparation, ascent and return, in a guided adventure full of emotion and nature.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone, with a minimum height of 140 cm.
Minors may participate accompanied by a responsible adult.
Suitable for beginners, but requires participants to be in good physical condition.
For safety reasons, this experience is not recommended for pregnant women, people with motor disabilities, reduced mobility or in the process of post-operative recovery.
No previous experience is required.

The activity is available all year round, with one departure in the morning and one in the afternoon.
The experience is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
