Are you up for your first via ferrata? You'll want it not to be your last.
The via ferrata del Chorrico, in Tous, climbs a 60-metre wall with nearby clamps, panoramic views and the option of rappelling down a dry ravine. It is perfect for beginners (or to enjoy it with the family) without technical complications and in a beautiful natural setting next to the Tous reservoir .

What we will do
The appointment is at the indicated time at the meeting point in Tous, Valencia. There we will be met by the guide who will accompany us on this exciting adventure.
We will follow him to drive around the reservoir until we reach the Chorrico spring, a beautiful natural spot that gives its name to the ferrata. There we will begin a 5-minute walk until we reach the foot of the wall.
The via ferrata ascends about 60 metres vertically. It is equipped with clamps very close to each other, so it is ideal for beginners, even with children. During the ascent, we will have spectacular views of the Tous reservoir and the Caroche massif.
When we reach the top, we can choose between two ways of descending: a path equipped with some simple sections of staples or a dry canyon with 4 beautiful and progressive abseils , the longest being 30 metres (if we've got this far, we're not going to be stopped by a bit of abseiling, are we?) And, in any case, we will be accompanied at all times by a professional mountain guide.
After completing the descent, we will walk back to the Chorrico spring.
The total duration of the activity is approximately 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended for children aged 8 and over. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult with a signed authorisation.
The maximum weight is 100 kg for women and 120 kg for men. Only two people under 40 kg per guide are allowed. The day before the activity you will receive a form to indicate your weight, height and shoe size.
Pregnant women are not allowed to participate from the second trimester onwards.
The activity is not suitable for people with recent injuries, serious illnesses or mobility problems. In case of doubt, we recommend that you consult your guide.
The activity is suitable for people with no previous experience, as it is an easy level.

The experience is available all year round except July and August and is confirmed with a minimum of 3 participants.
A few days before the activity you will receive the exact location of the meeting point.
Duration may vary depending on the number of people and their level of experience.
Parking is available on site. The meeting point is not accessible by public transport.
A transfer service is offered from Valencia, to be arranged directly with the organiser once the booking has been confirmed.
Dogs are not allowed.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
