Trekking, climbing and paragliding over the Montserrat massif

Combine a mountain trekking with a 3-hour climb on one of the spires of the emblematic Montserrat massif, and to top it all off , paraglide down between canals, forests and rock walls.

An unforgettable experience of up to 6 hours designed for adventurers who want to push their limits and experience the mountain from every angle.

What we will do

We will meet in the village of Collbató, just 30 km from Barcelona, where our guide will welcome us and explain how the day will unfold. From there we will make a 30-minute drive to the Monastery of Montserrat, the starting point of the adventure.

The experience begins with a 30 to 90 minute approach route, which will take us through forests, canals and rock formations to the base of one of the emblematic spires of the massif. Along the way we pass ancient hermitages and medieval ruins, enjoying the silence and unique views of this magical mountain.

Once at the base, it is time to climb. We will face a long route of several pitches, an ascent of about 3 hours, aimed at participants with previous experience and who have mastered at least the V grade of sport climbing. Step by step, we will gain height over the most unique rock spires in Catalonia, with the valley stretching out below our feet and the sea in the distance.

After reaching the summit, we will take a well-deserved rest, contemplating the horizon that joins the Pyrenees with the Mediterranean. The pilots will prepare the flight equipment and give us the safety instructions. And then, the most awaited moment: a few steps running down the slope and. .. to fly over Montserrat!

For 30 to 40 minutes we will fly over the massif, enjoying 360º views of the Natural Park of Montserrat, with its spires, channels and climbers challenging the rocky walls. Finally, we will land gently in the Collbató area, where the day began.

In total, the experience lasts 5 to 6 hours, combining trekking, climbing and flying in an environment as spectacular as it is challenging. A full day of vertical adventure on one of the most iconic mountains in Catalonia.

Who it is aimed at

This experience is designed for mountain and adventure lovers. No previous paragliding experience is required, but you do need to have an active lifestyle.

It is not recommended for pregnant women, people with reduced mobility or wheelchair users.

The minimum age is 15 years old (or 35 kg minimum weight) , and minors must be accompanied by an adult or have a signed authorisation.

The maximum weight allowed for flying is 120 kg.

The activity requires a moderately active lifestyle and previous climbing experience, with a minimum of grade V sport climbing proficiency.

The activity is available all year round.

The total duration of the experience is approximately 5 to 6 hours, depending on the rate of climb and wind conditions.

The flight includes video and photographs, which you will receive within 24 hours.

Parking is available at the meeting point.
