There are beautiful views. .. and then there are the views of Montserrat from the air.
Combine a mountain trek of 30 to 90 minutes with a paragliding flight of up to 40 minutes over the Montserrat massif, one of the most emblematic mountains in Catalonia. Walk, climb and take off among its rock spires to enjoy 360º panoramic views from the Pyrenees to the Mediterranean.
A 4 to 5 hour experience between trails, history and pure emotion.
What we will do
We will meet in the village of Collbató, just 30 km from Barcelona, where our guide will welcome us and explain how the day will unfold. From there we will drive about 30 minutes to the Monastery of Montserrat, the starting point of the trekking.
The adventure begins with a mountain route lasting between 30 minutes and an hour and a half, depending on the path and the pace of the group. The narrow, winding path climbs through forests, canals and unique rock formations, passing hermitages and ancient ruins dating back to the Middle Ages. Little by little we gain height as the rock spires of the Montserrat massif rise up around us like natural sculptures.
When we reach the take-off area, we will take a break to rest, enjoy the scenery and prepare the equipment. The pilots will give us the basic safety and flight instructions, we will adjust the equipment. .. and the heart starts to beat faster. A few footsteps running down the slope, a gust of air, the ground moving away underfoot and suddenly. .. we are flying over one of the most fascinating mountains in Catalonia!
For 20 to 40 minutes we will fly over the Montserrat massif, enjoying 360º views stretching from the Pyrenees to the Mediterranean Sea. A labyrinth of valleys, canals and rock spires will unfold beneath our feet, and we may even see climbers challenging its most iconic walls. Finally, we will descend gently to the Collbató area, where we will land to close the day with the same mountain that saw us take off.
In total, the experience lasts between 4 and 5 hours, depending on the pace of the hike and the wind conditions. A perfect combination of hiking, history and flight, in an environment that seems to be taken from another planet.
Who it is aimed at
This experience is designed for mountain and adventure lovers. No previous paragliding experience is required, but you do need to have a moderately active lifestyle.
It is not recommended for pregnant women, people with reduced mobility or wheelchair users.
The minimum age is 12 years (or 35 kg minimum weight) , and minors must be accompanied by an adult or have a signed authorisation.
The maximum weight allowed to fly is 120 kg.

The activity is available all year round.
The total duration of the experience is approximately 4 to 5 hours, depending on the rate of climb and wind conditions.
The flight includes video and photographs, which you will receive within 24 hours.
Parking is available at the meeting point.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
