We set sail and set sail for adventure with this sailing tour of the Paraje Natural de Maro-Cerro Gordo!
You'll explore the magnificent bays that stretch along the coast, such as Calaiza beach, and have fun snorkelling in crystal clear waters.
Get ready for an unforgettable experience... with a toast included.
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the appointed time in La Herradura, Granada.
Our skipper will be waiting for us, ready to accompany us through the wonders of the Paraje Natural de Maro-Cerro Gordo.
After a brief welcome, we will set sail for Punta de la Mona, exploring the hidden coves along the coast, such as the magnificent Calaiza beach.
In summer, a stop of about 30/45 minutes is also planned for a swim in a quiet bay, chosen by the skipper according to the sea conditions. On board we will find everything we need to have fun, such as a snorkelling kit and a paddle surf board (included).
In addition, we will be able to toast the beautiful landscapes that surround us with a drink of your choice (included): white wine, beer, cava or soft drinks, and snacks (included) such as olives, chips and nuts.
Finally, we will return to the starting point, satisfied and happy for the beautiful moments lived.
The activity will have a total duration of 2 or 3 hours, depending on the season. When booking you can select the option "2 hours - low season" or "3 hours - high season".
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible, while people with reduced mobility can access the boat with the help of staff. Please contact the organisers in advance using the details provided in the booking confirmation email to request assistance with boarding.
Other information
The activity is available all year round. Depending on the option selected when booking, the duration and availability changes:
- Option "2 hours - low season": available from the second half of October to the end of May.
- Option "3 hours - high season": available from June until the first half of October.
In addition, the activity will be confirmed once the minimum number of 4 participants has been reached.
The boat is the sailing boat Acheron, a Bavaria 37 Cruiser from 2007, with 12 meters length, awning, bathing ladder, solarium, WC and kitchen with fridge. The maximum capacity is 9 passengers. Barefoot is required on board.
Sails will be hoisted only if it is possible to sail under sail. Otherwise, the boat will be motor sailed.
No alternatives are offered for allergies or food intolerances, but it is possible to bring your own food and drink on board.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point is accessible by public transport.
Dogs are not allowed.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
