Legend has it that Neptune’s fearsome wolf used to crush entire pirate ships, but we’re pretty sure that if he saw you turning up on these jet skis, he’d ask you to take him for a spin.
Enjoy a thrilling 1-hour jet-ski excursion to the mysterious Cova del Llop Marí, in L’Ametlla de Mar. You’ll glide at full speed across the open sea, following in your guide’s wake. If you decide to go with a companion, you’ll share the same jet ski, doubling the laughter and the adrenaline rush as you explore a fascinating cave that hides a secluded black-sand beach.
What we will do
We’ll meet about 20 minutes before the scheduled time at the meeting point in Calafat, L’Ametlla de Mar. There , we’ll be welcomed, given our compulsory lifejackets and get everything ready before heading straight down to the moorings. The jet skis are already waiting for us at the jetty!
We’ll attend a brief safety briefing lasting about 5 minutes to learn how to use the controls, get to grips with the jet ski and familiarise ourselves with the basic rules of navigation. And that’s when the action begins! We’ll set off on an exciting group ride towards the Cova del Llop Marí. We’ll ride along the Costa Dorada, feeling the speed, until we reach this fascinating cave where , according to legend, the god Neptune created a sea lion to scare off pirates. We’ll admire its zigzagging side gallery and its inner beach of black sand and rock, the size of which changes with the tides.
We’ll head back to the harbour after making the most of around 45 minutes of pure adrenaline riding the waves. We’ll round off a perfect experience lasting a total of 1 hour, including preparation and the excursion itself .
Who it is aimed at
No experience is required.
To drive the jet ski, you must be of legal age or aged 16 or over and have permission from a legal guardian.
Children aged 6 and over may ride as passengers. Children aged between 6 and 15 must ride on a jet ski accompanied by a responsible adult.
You do not strictly need to know how to swim, although it is highly recommended so that you feel safe in the water.
This activity is not permitted for pregnant women.
If you have reduced mobility or use a wheelchair, you can take part in the activity by letting us know in advance so that we can prepare the jet ski accordingly. You will receive the contact details in your booking confirmation email.
Other information
The activity is available every day from June to October, provided that sea and weather conditions allow for safe navigation.
The excursion takes place in groups of a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 6 jet skis at any one time. Each jet ski can carry 2 people.
Accompanying guests who are not taking part will find facilities near the office; the area is pet-friendly.
There is free parking near the meeting point. It is also possible to get there by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
