Can you imagine yourself leading the reins of a horse through legendary landscapes, where battles were once fought?
This is not a cowboy movie: it's a 2-hour horseback ride through the trails of the last frontier of the Nasrid kingdom, in the surroundings of Colomera, Granada.
Accompanied by a professional, you will ride through lands steeped in history, in a relaxing experience in connection with nature; accessible even if you haven't ridden before.
What we will do
We will meet at the meeting point in Colomera, a charming corner in the north of Granada, where our equestrian guide will welcome us 10 minutes before departure time.
We will start with a brief introduction of about 15 minutes in which we will learn the basic safety rules and how to give the first commands to our horse. Nothing complicated! The horses will already be prepared and saddled, and our guide will assign us the most suitable one, adjusting the saddles so that we are comfortable and safe.
We will use western style saddles, perfect for inexperienced riders: they are wide, stable and designed to enjoy the ride without worries.
The route will be about 8 km long, crossing dirt tracks and varied terrain, while enjoying the breathtaking views of the province of Granada. We will ride through landscapes that were witnesses of history, following ancient trails that were part of the last frontier of the Nasrid kingdom.
All along the way, our guide will accompany us on horseback, sharing stories, local legends and fascinating details of the culture of the area.
After an enriching route full of special moments, we will return to the starting point. The whole experience will last approximately 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone from the age of 8 years old. Those aged between 16 and 18 can participate with a signed authorisation from a guardian.
The activity is easy, perfect even for first-time riders.
To take part, you must not weigh more than 105 kg or be more than 2 metres tall.
The activity is not recommended for pregnant women or those with back injuries.

The activity is available all year round.
The saddle used is western style.
The guide also participates on horseback.
Companions and their pets are welcome to wait on the premises but are not allowed to join the tour.
Access by public transport can be difficult due to the timetables available, but free parking is available for guests.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
