Full description
Discover the wonders of Tenerife's southwest coast with this 12-seater glass-floored catamaran tour. See whales and dolphins in their natural habitat, snorkel in stunning coves and relax on board the intimate Abrazo boat.
Set sail from Costa Adeje and be amazed by the natural beauty of the Teno-Rasca Marine Strip. On board the Abrazo you will have all the comforts: you can explore the seabed through the glass floor, relax under the awning, take a dip, sunbathe in the bow area...
Live this wonderful experience in its most intimate version and return to land with an incredible feeling of peace and tranquillity.
What we will do
The crew will meet us at Puerto Colón, Costa Adeje, 20 minutes before departure time to check reservations and help us board.
We will set sail on time on the Abrazo, an intimate 12-seater catamaran in which we will sail along the Teno-Rasca Marine Strip, a Special Area of Conservation (SAC). The first few minutes will be dedicated to a brief talk on safety regulations. Afterwards, the crew will go on to explain the main curiosities about the biodiversity of the area, recognised as the first Whale Heritage Site in Europe.
Wind permitting, we will continue the tour under sail to ensure a sustainable navigation. The pleasant explanations will accompany us throughout the trip, during which we will enter the habitat of different species of cetaceans, for sightings and listening thanks to a marine hydrophone. In fact, the Abrazo has the Responsible Watching certification, awarded by the World Cetacean Alliance (WCA).
We will feel at home as we relax in the sunbeds, feel the sea at our feet on the bow solarium and observe the depths of the Atlantic Ocean through the glass floor. There will also be plenty of opportunities for a refreshing dip and snorkelling as we anchor in spectacular coves. To recharge your batteries, we will enjoy a catering service with a variety of canapés, fresh fruit and drinks.
After a unique trip, we will return to Costa Adeje full of peace and happiness.
The excursion will last 3 hours.
