Full description
How beautiful Seville is... seen from the water!
Get ready to discover the Andalusian city from a privileged point of view: sailing along the Guadalquivir, a 90-minute tour along the river awaits you. It will be a guided tour during which you will discover the history of the river, the neighbourhoods and attractions along its course, and countless curiosities.
The boat will follow a panoramic itinerary among monuments such as the Torre del Oro, the Triana Bridge and the Isla de la Cartuja. On board you will receive a welcome drink and enjoy an immersive story about the history of the city.
What we will do
The meeting point in Seville is 15 minutes before the indicated time.
We will be welcomed by our captain, who will accompany us on board and start the navigation. We will depart from San Telmo in a southerly direction to begin our tour of the Guadalquivir River.
We will first sail along the southern part of the river, admiring the sites of the Ibero-American Exhibition of 1929, the lush gardens of the San Telmo Palace, the green of the Maria Luisa Park and the imposing architecture of the Plaza de España. We will reach the Puente de las Delicias, the access to the Port of Seville, where we will turn back.
Going up the river, we will explore the central area, the historical and cultural heart of the city. We will pass under the San Telmo Bridge, in front of the iconic Torre del Oro, symbol of Seville, and we will sail along the picturesque Calle Betis. We will see the Muelle de la Sal, the Triana Bridge and the charming Paseo de la O, where the city is reflected in the calm waters of the Guadalquivir.
Finally, we will head towards the northern area, arriving at the Cachorro Bridge, the Navigation Pavilion and the Isla de la Cartuja area, where old pavilions from Expo 92 blend with new contemporary architecture.
Throughout the tour, the captain will be our guide and will offer explanations and anecdotes, answer questions and give us recommendations for further exploration of Seville. There will be brief stops during the trip to admire the monuments and take photos, although we will not go ashore.
A welcome drink will be served on board (a choice of water, soft drink or wine), which you can enjoy relaxing in the comfort of the boat.
The total duration of the activity is 1 hour and 30 minutes.
