Entering the Ebro Delta means encountering a set of spectacular natural habitats and a distinctive culture.
On this tour you will be able to travel by 4x4 through the biological, historical and cultural points of interest, receiving detailed explanations. You will visit the Delta Lagoon and understand the process of formation of this place full of natural wealth. Finally, you can enjoy a fun kayak trip in front of Riumar beach.
It is an activity that combines fun and knowledge, in a very fun and rewarding family outing.
What we will do
The meeting point is at Riumar beach. It is necessary to arrive 15 minutes before the agreed time.
At this place we will make a first introduction, with explanatory panels, with detailed information about the Ebro Delta Natural Park.
Then we will start the first part of the tour, a journey of approximately 1 hour in a 4x4 Land Rover Defender. The route includes different points of biological, historical and cultural interest that the guide will explain. We will also talk about the different ecosystems of the Natural Park and we will make a stop at the Delta lagoon in order to share the process of formation of the Delta and its habitats.
We will return to Riumar beach to start the second part of the activity: a fun kayak ride. We will have some time to change in the changing rooms of the facilities and it will be time to get into the water and start paddling. We will head with the guide to the only area of the Delta that is growing in sediment, known as Margarita Island. There, sandy breakwaters and natural bays have formed where we can take a dip before returning to land.
The activity will take about 3 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for beginners. It is not compulsory to know how to swim, you just need to feel comfortable in the water.
Children of any age can take part, but can only do the kayaking part from the age of 5 years old. In any case, children must always be accompanied by an adult.
The activity is not accessible to people with motor dysfunctions.

The activity is available every day in July and August and will be confirmed if a minimum group of 4 people is reached.
Children up to 5 years old are entitled to participate free of charge. If there are 2 or more children in this age group in the same family, it may be necessary to pay a symbolic fee of 5 euros. In any case, it will be necessary to inform the organiser in advance of the presence of children between 0 and 5 years of age. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
You can request in advance the substitution of the kayak for a paddle surf board, the only condition is to have experience.
Accompanying persons who do not participate can wait in the facilities that the organisation has at the meeting point. Dogs may be kept on a leash.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
