To make the most of paragliding in the Pyrenees, you need to know how to follow the currents.
This thermal flight over the Tena Valley will take you from 2000 to 3500 metres above sea level, taking advantage of the hot air currents generated in the central hours of the day. You will fly for more than 40 minutes, circling in the sky like vultures and eagles do.

What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the booking time at the meeting point in Pueyo de Jaca. This will also be the place where we will land at the end of the experience.
From there, we will go up in a 4x4 vehicle with the pilot to the take-off point. During the preparation of the equipment, we will receive some basic instructions from the pilot to make the flight comfortable and safe. We will learn how to take off, how to behave during the flight and what to do when landing.
Once we are ready, a short run will be enough to take off and. .. Start flying! We will take advantage of the thermal currents that form during the central hours of the day to ascend from 2000 to 3500 metres altitude, just as the great birds do, with the Tena valley under our feet.
We will fly in circles, gaining altitude little by little, while we explore the Pyrenean sky in its wildest and most silent version. And if you are up for it, you can also ask the pilot for some acrobatic manoeuvres to close this Pyrenean flight in style.
The flight will last a minimum of 40 minutes, and can be extended if the wind conditions are favourable and you feel like feeling like a bird for a little while longer.
The total duration of the experience is approximately 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for all ages and a minimum age of 4 years old is recommended.
Minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian who will sign an authorisation.
The ideal weight is between 40 and 100 kg. If you do not reach or exceed this weight, it will be necessary to calculate the most suitable time of day for the flight.
It is possible to adapt the experience to make it accessible for people with motor disabilities.
Please let the pilot know in advance if you have special needs due to weight, as well as any pathology or disability. You will receive contact details in the booking confirmation email.

The experience is available all year round.
The duration will be between 40 minutes and 1. 5 hours, depending on the weather conditions and how comfortable you feel during the flight. As this is a long flight experience, we advise you to take medication to prevent motion sickness approximately 1 hour beforehand.
If you are 2 people and you are interested in a simultaneous flight, ask the pilot if it will be possible on the chosen date. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
Accompanying persons who do not participate can wait at the meeting point, where the landing will take place. Pets on a leash are allowed.
Free parking is available at the meeting point. It is not possible to reach the area by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
