Not one, not two. .. four gastronomic gems await you after a walk through the high altitude vineyards!
Enjoy a 1. 5 hour immersion on the trails that connect two wineries with unique concepts. Discover the secrets of the barrel room and enjoy a guided tasting of 4 selected wines paired with a gourmet appetizer. Can you think of a better plan to understand the soul of Rioja?
What we will do
We will be welcomed 10 minutes beforehand at the meeting point at Palacios Vinos de Finca, in Nalda, La Rioja. This place was born from the desire to produce wines that respect the essence of the landscape and the freshness of its natural environment. After being welcomed by our hosts, we will start a 5-minute walk through the vineyards, enjoying the fresh air as we head towards the Bodegas Nivarius and Bodegas Proelio facilities.
During the tour, we will visit the winemaking area and the barrel room, where we will discover what makes these two houses special: from the curiosity that Nivarius only makes white wines, to Proelio' s effort to rescue old vineyards to create their reds. We will see up close how they take care of each piece of land so that the grapes grow with a unique flavour. After getting to know the nooks and crannies where the wine rests, we will retrace our steps through the vines to return to the cosy Wine Bar.
To round off the experience, we will enjoy a guided tasting of 4 wines with a gastronomic profile: Finca La Nevera, Proelio Garnacha, Proelio Vendimia Seleccionada and Nivarius Reserva. We will taste each glass accompanied by 4 gourmet appetizers -which may include salmon, cheeses and cold meats from the area- and a final sweet touch with a handmade chocolate medallion from the winery itself. It is the perfect moment to toast and share impressions of this unique territory before ending our visit.

Pregnant women are welcome and will be offered must as an alternative to wine.

The activity takes place all year round, from Wednesday to Sunday at 11: 00 am.
It is a shared experience with a maximum of 16 participants.
The meeting point has free parking and can also be reached by public transport.
In case of rain, the activity will continue (umbrellas will be provided for the outdoor sections) .
If you have any allergies or intolerances, please let the organisers know in advance so that the aperitif can be adapted.
Pets and companions who have not booked the activity are not allowed.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
