Can you imagine crossing the skies and feeling as free as a bird?
Well, you can do it while you admire the panorama of the valleys of Cenes de la Vega and Monachil. With a paragliding flight of 25 or 40 minutes you will enjoy an incomparable landscape from a unique perspective in the company of a professional and competition pilot. Make yourself comfortable and enjoy flying very close to the Sierra Nevada National Park.
This experience will test you, but it will also allow you to leave your problems on the ground. Ready to take off?
What we will do
The meeting point is at the official paragliding landing in Cenes de la Vega. It is important to be punctual with the time indicated in the booking.
The first step will be to receive all the technical and safety information for the activity, then we will travel by van with the pilot for 30 minutes to the take-off area. After a short walk of 5 minutes, we will receive all the indications about the take-off manoeuvre in a briefing of 10 minutes.
You can decide if you want to hire a photographic service for the experience. If so, we will capture snapshots of the whole activity, starting with the moments before take-off. Afterwards, a short run following the pilot's instructions will be enough to feel how your feet start to take off from the ground.
We will fly for 25 to 40 minutes and we will be able to reach an altitude of 1300 metres, even 1600 or 1700 metres on the longest flights. We will enjoy like children contemplating the valleys of Cenes de la Vega and Monachil, while we can see the Sierra Nevada and the city of Granada in the distance. If the thermals allow it, it will be possible to climb a little higher to have a wider perspective, up to El Veleta, the Alcazaba and the Mulhacén.
The landing will take place at the initial meeting point, located at an altitude of 700 metres (500 metres difference in altitude from the take-off point).
The effective duration of the flight is 25 or 40 minutes, depending on what has been agreed, and the total duration of the activity is 1.5 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for beginners. The minimum age is 5 years old and minors must have an authorisation.
The most appropriate weight for participants is between 40 and 100 kilos. If you are heavier, please check with the organiser after confirming your booking.
Documentation will be provided with information about the limitations. Pregnant women should consult their doctor and people with mobility problems should inform the organiser in advance in order to receive assistance.
Other information
The experience is available from Monday to Sunday, with the exception of the months of July and August, when conditions in the area are not suitable for flying.
The activity is individual and, depending on the availability of the pilots, a maximum of 6 flights will be possible in the same time slot.
It is possible to fly simultaneously with another participant.
Free parking is available at the meeting point.
It will be possible to book a photographic report on the day of the flight at an extra cost of 20 euros, you will receive it in 3 days through a link sent by mail.
With an extra cost of 15 euros it will also be possible to live the whole experience controlling the paraglider yourself. To guarantee maximum safety, this option is subject to the flight conditions on the day of the activity and is contracted on the spot with the organiser.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
