Learn to master the board and enjoy a trip full of games, laughs and jumps in Ciudad Rodrigo!
Explore the spectacular surroundings of the Águeda River on a 2-hour trip where balance and fun go hand in hand. Guided by qualified instructors, discover the secrets of Paddle Surf through group dynamics and challenges that will prepare you for any current. Whether on a single board or on a Big SUP to share, live a refreshing experience that includes a photographic report and a tasty snack at the end.
What we will do
We will meet at the agreed time at the meeting point in Ciudad Rodrigo, Salamanca. After introductions, we will receive all the necessary equipment for the activity: paddle surf board, paddle, waistcoat and wetsuit if the conditions require it. Once we are ready and equipped, we will take a short walk of just 2 minutes to the point where we will go upstream in the vehicles to start the adventure from the top.
When we reach the banks of the Águeda River, we will receive an initiation class from our qualified instructors. We will learn the basic positions, how to keep our balance and paddling techniques to navigate with confidence. With the theory clear, we'll take to the water! We will make an exciting descent surrounded by a spectacular environment, where calm waters mix with dynamic areas to test our coordination in a fun way.
During the tour, we will receive constant advice from the guide while we participate in games and challenges on the board. We'll stop for a swim, relax in the sun and, for those looking for extra adrenaline, we'll have the option of a safe jump from a tree directly into the water. It is the perfect moment to let go of tension and enjoy the river in its purest state.
At the end of the crossing, we will return to the base, where we can change and relax before the finishing touch: we will receive a delicious aperitif with a skewer of omelette and a cold drink to share the best anecdotes of the day. In total, we will complete a spectacular 2-hour route.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is suitable for beginners and families looking for an active day out.
The minimum age is 8 years old. Children must always be accompanied by an adult.
It is not necessary to know how to swim, as the use of a life jacket is compulsory.
This experience is not suitable for people with reduced mobility or in wheelchairs.
For safety reasons, it is not recommended for pregnant women or people who have recently undergone surgery.
Other information
The activity is available from May to September, with daily departures.
It is a group activity with a capacity of up to 30 people, where you can choose the Big SUP for up to 10 people to enjoy as a team.
The outing is done with at least 2 participants.
The meeting point has free parking. It is not advisable to come by public transport.
The organisers have changing rooms, showers and a locker for valuables.
In case of food intolerance, please inform the organisers in advance. You will receive their contact details in the booking confirmation email.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 15 days from the activity start date. Within 14 and 8 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
