Exchange stress for the sea and discover how easy it is to glide over the waves in Gran Canaria.
Enjoy a 2-hour SUP lesson at Las Marañuelas Beach, where you will learn from scratch how to stand up on the board in complete safety. An ideal environment to get started or improve, with calm waters, sun all year round and the guidance of a certified instructor who will accompany you step by step.

What we will do
We will meet 15 minutes before the agreed time at the meeting point at Las Marañuelas beach in Arguineguín, where the sound of the sea and the Atlantic breeze will mark the beginning of the experience. Our instructor will be waiting for us there to welcome us, give us the equipment and calmly explain everything we need to start safely and confidently.
We will start on the sand with a brief theoretical explanation while we get into the atmosphere, followed by a gentle warm-up to prepare the body. Gradually we will approach the water, where a calm and perfect environment awaits us to learn without rushing or pressure.
Once in the sea, we will start kneeling on the board to familiarise ourselves with the balance and feel how it glides over the water. With the constant support of the instructor we will gain confidence until we dare to stand up, paddle safely and control the direction. The whole process will be progressive, accompanied and very dynamic.
During the session there will also be times to stop, sit on the board and enjoy the surroundings: the reflection of the sun on the water, the calm of the bay or even a spontaneous dip in the Atlantic to cool off. Finally, we will return to the beach to do some gentle stretching, closing the experience in a relaxed way while still feeling the energy of the sea. In total, we will experience 2 hours of learning, fun and connection with the ocean in a unique environment in Gran Canaria.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is suitable for all levels, ideal for beginners .
It is a perfect experience for adventurers from 4 years old (always accompanied by an adult) .
You don't need to know how to swim, as life jackets are available on request.
For safety reasons, there is a weight limit of 110 kg.
The activity is suitable for pregnant women, as the pace is adapted to their needs.
For people with reduced mobility, it will be necessary to contact in advance to assess how to adapt the lesson.

Lessons are available all year round.
The experience is weather dependent; in the event of excessive wind at Las Marañuelas, we will move to an alternative location just 5 minutes away (such as El Pajar) to ensure safety.
The meeting point has free street parking and is easily accessible by public transport.
Accompanying persons can wait comfortably on the beach while the tour takes place.
Pets are not allowed.
If you have sensitive skin, we advise you to wear leggings that cover your knees to protect them from rubbing against the board.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
