Standing on a hoverboard while paddling in the middle of the ocean? Don't worry, you don't need to be a balance ninja.
With this introductory SUP lesson in Lanzarote, you'll discover that the ocean is much more than a postcard: it's your new playground. Accompanied by an instructor, you'll learn the basics of this water sport and glide across the water for 1 hour of pure lightness as if you've been doing it all your life.
Spoiler: falling is normal, so is laughing!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Puerto del Carmen, on the island of Lanzarote. There the instructor will be waiting for us, who will accompany us step by step in this introductory experience to the world of SUP.
The class will begin with a brief talk on dry land, where we will learn the basics of the discipline: how to balance on the board, how to hold the paddle correctly and what are the essential movements to know.
Once ready, we will enter the water to start the actual practice. Depending on the sea conditions, the session will take place in Playa Chica or in the bay of Puerto del Carmen, two ideal places to start paddle surfing in complete safety.
During the whole activity, the instructor will be by our side to give us advice, correct our posture and make sure we have a great time.
After about 45 minutes in the water, we will return to the meeting point. The total duration of the activity is approximately 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for children aged 8 and over. Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult during the activity, while children under the age of 18 can participate on presentation of a signed authorisation.
It is not necessary to know how to swim, but a good command of the water is required.

The experience takes place all year round.
Free and/or paid parking is available in the area, and the meeting point is accessible by public transport.
On site you will find changing rooms and showers, and you can store your belongings in a secure locker.
Dogs are not allowed during the experience.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
