SUP sunset in the caves of Portinatx in the north of Ibiza

Imagine gliding over crystal clear waters while the sky is tinged with fire and the coast of Portinatx reveals its secrets.

Feel the freedom of touring the north of Ibiza on a 2-hour guided SUP route, where you will explore caves full of history and unspoilt corners accessible only by sea. A trip designed to connect with nature and enjoy a magical sunset from the top of your board, with an optional stop to snorkel in the purest waters of the island.

What we will do

We will meet 5 minutes before the agreed time at the meeting point in Cala Portinatx. There we will be welcomed and we will start with a small initial briefing to master the board. If you've never paddle surfed before, don't worry: in a few minutes you'll be on your feet, feeling that first rush of freedom as you glide over the water.

Once you're underway, we'll start paddling northwest while the coast of Ibiza gives us its wildest side. We will paddle under the gaze of the historic point of sa Torre, where the 18th century fortress seems to watch over our passage. The geology here is capricious, with rocks sculpted by time and the intense green of the pine trees reaching almost to the shore. We will be accompanied by the silhouette of the Moscarter lighthouse, marking the absolute north of the island.

Halfway along the route, we will stop to refresh ourselves. This is the moment to jump into the water, feel the warm sea on your skin and do some snorkelling. You will see how the Posidonia meadows dance under your feet and the fish move among the golden reflections that are already beginning to bathe the seabed.

But the highlight comes when the sun begins its descent. We will look for a moment of absolute peace in the middle of the sea to experience the spectacle. The sky becomes a vivid canvas that is tinged with oranges, intense pinks and ochres, merging with the deep blue of the Mediterranean. You will feel the breeze becoming softer and the water reflecting those fiery colours, creating a magical atmosphere that can only be experienced from the silence of your board.

Finally, with salty skin and the calm of having witnessed an unrepeatable moment, we will start our return to safe harbour while the first stars begin to appear. In total, we will enjoy 2 hours of pure connection that will make you feel the true magic of the north of Ibiza.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is ideal for all levels, including families with children from 8 years old (who can paddle) .

It is necessary to be in normal physical condition and be willing to get wet and have fun.

This experience is not suitable for pregnant women or people with reduced mobility.

Other information

It is available throughout the summer season (May to October). The timetable varies slightly depending on the time of year to catch the best sunset light. It will be necessary to contact the organisers to coordinate the exact timetable. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.

The tour is confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants and a maximum of 18 people per group.

There are lockers at the meeting point to store your valuables.

There are no showers on the premises.

Pets are not allowed.

There is free parking in the area.

The route may vary slightly depending on weather conditions to ensure safe navigation.
