Enjoy a thrilling sport fishing experience in Cambrils – a 4-hour adventure designed to teach you the best techniques for each season, right on the Costa Dorada. You’ll share a boat with an expert skipper who’ll guide you in catching the most sought-after species of the moment.
We guarantee you won’t return home empty-handed.
What we will do
We’ll meet at Cambrils harbour 15 minutes before the agreed boarding time. There, we’ll be met by the captain of the Llobarrete II, who’ll be our instructor for the day’s fishing trip.
With all the equipment ready, we’ll cast off and sail about 5 miles out to the ideal spot chosen by our captain, who knows the best fishing grounds each day. Once there, we’ll drop anchor or drift to begin the day’s fishing.
We’ll learn the secrets of different fishing techniques suited to the season, such as spin fishing, bottom fishing or bait fishing. In summer, we’ll target mid-water catches such as mackerel, horse mackerel, horse mackerel or even sea bass. During the winter, we’ll focus on bottom fishing to target whiting, sea bream and gilthead sea bream, not forgetting cephalopods such as cuttlefish and octopus.
After sharing the casting and the catch, we’ll return to port to divide the haul amongst all the participants. Mind you, if you’ve managed to land a special catch, it’s all yours!
We’ll say our goodbyes on the quay with a smile from ear to ear and the ingredients for dinner all sorted, after four hours of maritime adventure.
Who it is aimed at
No experience is necessary, and it’s a great way to get started with recreational fishing.
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. From the age of 12, they may take part on their own with the authorisation of a legal guardian.
It is not possible to board the boat in a wheelchair. However, the activity is accessible to people with mild mobility issues who are able to look after themselves.
Other information
The experience is available all year round.
You’ll be sailing on the Llobarrete II, a 10-metre-long Rodman 140. It has a total capacity of 12 people and is fully equipped for both sport fishing and sightseeing trips.
All trips include one drink, and you can buy more on board at reasonable prices. Morning trips include a small tuna sandwich. You are also welcome to bring your own food if you have any allergies, intolerances or special dietary requirements.
We advise against bringing dogs on board.
Accompanying guests who are not taking part in the activity will find various facilities at the harbour.
There is paid parking near the meeting point ; the nearest free parking spaces are at least a 10-minute walk away. It is also possible to reach the area by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
