Enjoy an introductory caving experience in Ribadesella, inspecting the Pando Cave. It will be a few hours of exciting learning, the perfect opportunity to safely enter the fascinating underground world with an expert guide.

What we will do
We will meet at the meeting point in Santianes, Ribadesella, about 30 minutes before the start of the adventure. There we will meet our guide and, after receiving all the necessary equipment for the experience, we will travel with him in a vehicle to the vicinity of the cave.
Once there, we will only have to walk about 500 metres to reach the entrance. Before entering the bowels of Asturias, we will attend a brief talk on safety rules, and we will be ready for the adventure.
We will explore a very horizontal and accessible cavity of between 400 and 450 metres, ideal for beginners, where the only challenge will be to duck down at some points. We will walk along with the guide, who will give us a theoretical and practical explanation about the history, the origin of the cave and the whimsical geological formations that we will find. For the more intrepid, the route has fully optional crawl areas.
After a fascinating underground exploration, we will come to the surface and return in the vehicle to the initial meeting point, where we will have comfortable changing rooms and showers.
The exploration of the cave will last approximately one and a half hours. The total duration of the experience will be about 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
No experience is necessary and you can participate with a minimum age of 6 years old.
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult or be authorised by a legal guardian.
The experience is not accessible for people with motor disabilities.

The experience is available from March until 1 November.

Changing rooms with showers and lockers are available at the tour organiser's premises.
It is not possible to participate with pets.
Accompanying persons who do not take part can go for a walk along the river. In addition, there is a hotel next door where you will find various services. Pets may be kept on a leash.
Free parking is available at the meeting point. It is not possible to reach the area by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 15 days from the activity start date. Within 14 and 8 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
