Do you dare to explore the heart of the Earth? In Patones de Abajo, a few kilometres from Madrid, the Cueva del Aire awaits you, a magical place where history, nature and emotion come together.
With a professional guide and all the equipment included, you will move through narrow passages, rock galleries and amazing formations sculpted by time.
An unforgettable 2 and a half hour adventure, perfect to disconnect, challenge yourself and discover a new world. Are you up for it?
What we will do
We will meet 15 minutes before the scheduled time in Patones de Abajo, a few minutes from Madrid. Before we start, the professional team will provide us with the necessary equipment and give us an introductory talk about the use of the equipment and basic safety rules.
We will be ready to enter the Cueva del Aire and live an authentic underground adventure. We will have easy access to the entrance of the cave, where the exploration will begin. Little by little we will enter its passages and galleries, advancing through narrow passages, large rooms and spectacular rock formations that have been shaped over thousands of years. Depending on the level of the group, the route will be adapted to guarantee a safe, exciting and suitable experience for each participant.
Throughout the activity we will be guided by professionals who will explain geological curiosities, the history of the environment and caving progression techniques.
A unique adventure to discover the underground world without leaving Madrid. After this experience full of discoveries and emotions, we will return to the meeting point with a new story to tell.
The activity will have a total duration of 2 hours and a half.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for children from 6 years old. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The activity is not suitable for pregnant women or people with heart or back problems.

The activity is available on weekends all year round and is confirmed with a minimum of 6 people.
The organiser will send more information about the meeting point a few days before the activity.
There are no changing rooms, it is recommended to arrive with appropriate clothing.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
