The ground opens up beneath your feet and Alcoy unfolds before your eyes.
Get ready to descend a dry canyon full of excitement, a bit of vertigo and, above all, breathtaking views. Canyoning in Soler starts off with a 35-metre abseil (optional) , and continues with another 9 chained descents between narrow walls and wild nature.
An ideal adventure to get you started in abseiling in style.
What we will do
The meeting point is in the Preventori area in Alcoy, Alicante. We will arrive 10 minutes before the booking time to meet the guide, who will give us the equipment and give us an introductory and safety talk.
From the car park we will walk about 10 minutes to the start of the canyon. There, just before starting the descent, we will receive detailed information about progression and abseiling, which will allow us to tackle the sections of the canyon safely.
And we start off strong: with a spectacular 35-metre abseil! Don't worry, it's optional, although it would be a shame not to live the experience to the full. .. Afterwards, we will continue with another 9 descents of lesser height, and now with no way out. The progression will be continuous and we will be completely immersed in this dry canyon surrounded by vegetation, with narrow corridors and incredible views of Alcoy.
After about 3 hours of adventure exploring the entreñas of the Sierra de Mariola Natural Park, we will leave the gorge and take a short walk to the guide's vehicle, who will accompany us back to the starting point.
The total duration of the experience is approximately 3 and a half hours.
Who it is aimed at
No experience is necessary and children from the age of 6 can participate.
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
A maximum weight of 120 kg is required.
The experience is not suitable for pregnant women or people with motor disabilities.

Other information
The experience is available all year round and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
Non-participating companions can wait in the area together with possible pets (on a leash) , both at the picnic area near the start and in the village (near the end of the descent) .
Free parking is available at the meeting point, but it is difficult to reach the area by public transport. The organiser offers an extra transfer service.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
