Full description
If you are looking for a simple and fun way to enjoy the winter, we have the answer: a snowshoeing tour.
This guided excursion in the Sierra de Guadarrama will take you to walk through snowy forests and breathtaking panoramic views. You will learn how to move on snow safely and you will discover some of the most beautiful landscapes of the Madrid Region.
Three hours of nature, fresh air and winter adventure in an environment that never ceases to amaze. Are you ready?
What we will do
The appointment will be 30 minutes before the booking time at the meeting point in the Sierra de Guadarrama (Navacerrada or Cotos mountain pass, depending on the snow conditions) . There we will be met by the guide, who will give us the snowshoes and poles and explain how to use them correctly before starting the adventure.
Once everything is ready, we will start the route walking along snow-covered trails and tracks. We will learn the basic techniques of moving and progression with snowshoes while we discover some of the most beautiful corners of the Sierra de Guadarrama. The experience is designed for all levels, ideal for those who are new to winter sports or simply want to enjoy the mountains in winter.
During the tour we will make several stops to rest, take photos and enjoy the views. Afterwards, we will resume our walk to complete the second part of the route, gliding gently down the snowy slopes.
The total duration of the activity is about 3 hours.
