Full description
Enjoy a family snow day in the Sierra de Guadarrama. An adventure designed for young and old, with snowshoes, igloos and sledges .
Walk through snowy mountains with the help of snowshoes, learn how to build an igloo like a real explorer and finish the day sledging. Fun, learning and nature go hand in hand in this winter experience.
Experience 4 hours of laughter, discovery and unique moments with the ones you love the most. Because snow, with the family, is doubly enjoyable.
What we will do
The meeting point in the Sierra de Guadarrama (Navacerrada pass or Cotos pass, depending on the snow conditions) is 30 minutes before the booking time. There we will be met by the guide, who will give us our snowshoes and poles and explain how to use them correctly before we head off into the mountains.
With the snowshoes on, we will begin a walk of approximately one hour through the snowy landscapes of the Sierra de Guadarrama. The route will be simple and family-friendly, perfect for young and old to enjoy the winter environment together.
When we arrive at our destination, the most fun moment will come: the igloo building workshop. With the help of the guide we will learn how these snow shelters are built and, working as a team, we will shape our own. An educational and very entertaining activity that children will love.
After completing the igloo, we will start the return journey calmly and, on returning to the starting point, we will enjoy some time playing with the sledges to finish the day laughing and sliding down the snow.
The total duration of the activity is 4 hours.
