Full description
If the closest thing you've seen to snow lately is the ice in your freezer, it's time for a change of scenery.
Put on your snowshoes to explore the Picos de Europa National Park on a guided route designed to walk for 3 hours among white trails. The perfect opportunity to immerse yourself for a few hours among mountain landscapes and breathe fresh air.
Come and make your mark.
What we will do
We will meet the guide at the meeting point in the Picos de Europa, about 10 minutes before the booking time. As the mountain is the best, the guide will select the best area according to the state of the snow and the weather, always ensuring the most favourable conditions for the route.
Once we have gathered, we will have a brief briefing where we will learn how to put on the snowshoes and how to handle them with ease on the terrain. After equipping ourselves with snowshoes, poles and waterproof gaiters, we will set off to leave our first footprints on the white trails of the Picos de Europa National Park.
Accompanied at all times by a technical sports guide, we will advance at a leisurely pace, making stops to enjoy the surroundings and ensure that the group remains united and motivated. We will cover between 5 and 6 km with a gentle slope, ideal to focus our energy on the landscape and not just on the effort.
The route will be circular and will take us back to the starting point to say goodbye after having experienced a day of total disconnection. To regain our strength we can enjoy the well-deserved picnic that we have taken with us.
The total duration of the experience will be about 5 hours, of which 3 hours will be spent walking with snowshoes.
