In Rasos de Peguera there is no more skiing, but the magic of winter is still very much alive.
With snowshoes on your feet, you'll walk through snow-capped mountains, among forests and panoramic views of the Berguedà region. A perfect excursion to enjoy the fresh air and discover the secrets of one of the first ski and mountain resorts in Catalonia.
A couple of hours to walk, disconnect and let the winter enchant you at an altitude of 2, 100 metres.
What we will do
The appointment will be 10 minutes before the booking time at the old ski resort of Rasos de Peguera, at an altitude of 1800 metres. Our guide will be waiting for us there and will start with a presentation before we get to the starting point.
We will receive all the necessary indications to enjoy the activity and we will be able to equip ourselves, put on our snowshoes and grab our poles. In less than 30 minutes we will be ready to start the route through the snowy mountains of Berguedà.
We will walk about 5 km, with a difference in altitude of 200 to 300 metres and no exposed passes, ideal to enjoy without haste, even if it is our first winter experience in the mountains. During the ascent we will reach an altitude of about 2, 100 metres , with spectacular panoramic views stretching from Montserrat to the Pyrenees.
Along the way we will make several stops to rest, enjoy the scenery and learn interesting facts about the area and the history of the Rasos de Peguera ski resort, one of the first in Catalonia, which was active until the early 2000s.
The activity will last a total of 3 hours, of which approximately 2 hours will be spent on the route (including stops) .
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone and no snow sports experience is necessary.
Children can participate if they wear a foot size 35 or larger.
The maximum foot size is 45.
It is not recommended for pregnant women, as well as for people with cardiovascular problems, back or knee injuries. It is forbidden to do the activity under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
The activity is not accessible to people with motor disabilities.
Other information
The activity is available from December to March and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
Important: please note that the activity is highly conditioned by snow conditions and could be subject to variations.
There are no changing rooms or lockers. We advise you to arrive equipped and to bring the minimum necessary, as you will have to leave valuables in the car.
The activity is pet-friendly, but dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
Companions who do not take part can wait at the Rasos de Peguera station, which has a bar and sledging area.
Free public parking is available in the vicinity of the station. It is not possible to get there by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
