Navacerrada can become your winter salvation.
Winter transforms the Sierra de Guadarrama into a white paradise and with this snowshoeing route you can discover it step by step. You will follow an expert guide along snowy trails and natural viewpoints. You will learn how to move on the snow and enjoy the silence, the calm and the feeling of freedom that only the mountain can offer.
Three hours to disconnect from the world and experience the magic of winter very close to Madrid.
What we will do
The guide will be waiting for us at the meeting point in Navacerrada, in the Sierra de Guadarrama, 30 minutes before the booking time. We will start with the delivery of the equipment (snowshoes and poles) and a briefing to explain how the activity will be carried out and how to walk safely on the snow.
Once everything is ready, we will start the route from the meeting point or a nearby access. We will walk along snowy trails on a route of approximately 6 km, with a cumulative difference in altitude of 300 metres . The itinerary will be adapted to the level of the group and does not include exposed steps, so there will be no problem if someone suffers from vertigo.
During the excursion we will make stops to enjoy the panoramic views of the Sierra de Guadarrama National Park, take a breath of fresh air, take photos and listen to the guide's explanations of the surroundings. The objective: to walk at a good pace, learn to move with snowshoes and savour the tranquillity of winter in the mountains.
The total duration of the experience is approximately 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
No experience is necessary and participation is open to children from the age of 8 years old.
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
It is not recommended for pregnant women and people who have recently suffered injuries.
Not accessible for people with motor disabilities.
Other information
The activity is available approximately from December to April. Please note that this is a weather-dependent experience and may be subject to variations. The exact area will be decided by the guide depending on the snow conditions.
Dogs can be taken on a leash, but it will be necessary to inform the guide beforehand. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
Those accompanying people who do not take part can wait at the Navacerrada ski resort, which has different services.
Free parking is available at the meeting point. During the ski season it can be difficult to find parking spaces, so it is advisable to arrive well in advance.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
