Do you feel like the world stops when you dive underwater?
Oropesa del Mar hides a treasure beneath its waves: the Renegá area. It is a natural enclave where the rocky seabed creates the perfect labyrinth for marine life. This snorkelling experience is perfect to discover the area without worries.
Adjust your goggles, take a deep breath and let the calmness of the blue flood you completely.
What we will do
We will arrive at the meeting point in Oropesa del Mar about 15 minutes in advance. There we will be met by the instructor and the skipper who will accompany us on this adventure.
Once ready, we will board the boat that will take us directly to the Renegá area. We will equip ourselves with mask, snorkel and fins, while we pay attention to the tips to see as many fish as possible. And then it's time: we'll jump into the water to enjoy 30 minutes of underwater exploration under the supervision of the instructor, who will stay on the boat to keep a close eye on everyone.
We'll be amazed by the life that is teeming among the rocks at different depths. After spending a good while trying to discover the hiding places of octopus, conger eels, moray eels? Or spot the odd bream or oblada, we will return together to the starting point, while we share our impressions of the adventure.
The total duration of the activity is approximately 1 hour and a half.
Who it is aimed at
No experience is necessary and participation is open to children from the age of 8 years old.
Minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian, who will also be responsible for signing the documentation.
It is not compulsory to swim, but it is necessary to feel comfortable in the water.
All participants will have to fill in a medical certificate that will determine if their health conditions are suitable for the activity.
The experience is not accessible for people with motor disabilities.
Other information
The activity is available from Easter until October and is confirmed when a minimum group of 6 people is reached.
In the dive centre there are changing rooms with lockers and showers.
The activity is done on the Teddy, a comfortable fibreglass boat with a length of 8 metres and capacity for up to 8 participants (+ instructor and skipper) .
If you have your own equipment, you can use it.
The companions who do not participate can wait on the terrace outside the dive centre or stroll around the harbour. They will be able to take care of possible pets (on a leash) .
There is paid parking in the port of Oropesa and the dive centre gives out 3 hour discount tickets. Outside the harbour there is free public parking. It is not possible to reach the area by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
