Let yourself be amazed by the Mar de las Calmas Marine Reserve, in the south of El Hierro. On this boat tour from La Restinga you will learn about the geology of the Canary Islands and enjoy the marine fauna while snorkelling in waters of infinite visibility.

What we will do
Our rendezvous is at the meeting point in La Restinga, on the southern tip of El Hierro. There we will be met punctually by the crew who will accompany us on this maritime expedition. Before heading to the boat, located a few metres away, the guide will hand over the equipment and give us the first guidelines about the tour.
We will dedicate a few moments to a theoretical explanation about snorkelling and the handling of the equipment, indications that will be completed on the way during the excursion. Then it's time to embark and start sailing through the protected waters of the Mar de las Calmas Marine Reserve, where time seems to stand still.
During the trip, the guide will explain the fascinating geology of the island. We will enjoy a breathtaking volcanic landscape, where the volcanic cones merge with the ocean, and we will stop at the most sheltered points, depending on the conditions of the day, to jump into the water and explore the seabed.
Below the surface, exceptional visibility of the typical species of Macaronesia awaits us: we will be able to spot trumpetfish, groupers, drumlins, barracudas and moray eels in their natural habitat.
After enjoying the biodiversity of the archipelago, we will head back to La Restinga. The total duration of the activity will be about 2 hours and a half.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for all ages and no experience is necessary.
It is recommended that children are at least 3 years old. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
It is not compulsory to know how to swim, but it is advisable. On board there will be life jackets and floating accessories for children.
The experience is not accessible for people with motor disabilities.
If you have any doubts about the suitability of the experience, please consult your doctor.
Other information
The experience is available all year round and is confirmed when a minimum group of 4 people is reached .
You will sail on a Capelli Tempest 750 semi-rigid inflatable . The boat is 7. 5 metres long and has a 250 hp engine. It has a ladder for easy entry and exit from the water.
The inflatable is not equipped with seats, so it is advisable to wear clothes that protect the legs when sitting on the side.
It is not possible to participate with pets.
There are lockers at the dive centre; although they are not padlockable, the premises will remain locked.
The centre also has a changing area, toilet and shower.
Free public parking is available near the meeting point. It is also possible to reach the area by bus.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
