Tired of flapping your arms as if you were being chased by a shark just to get two metres further?
Forget the effort and spend 1 hour and 15 minutes exploring the best parts of the Cabo de Palos Marine Reserve. You’ll discover caves and glide gently through Posidonia seagrass meadows and schools of fish, thanks to a state-of-the-art underwater propulsion system. With the option to add professional photos so you can show off your mission accomplished.
What we will do
We’ll meet 15 minutes before the agreed time at the meeting point in Cabo de Palos. There, we’ll meet our instructor and get our electric motors, masks and fins ready. Before we set off, we’ll spend just 5 minutes on a technical briefing to get to grips with the propulsion system: it’s so intuitive that, if you let go of the control, it stops automatically for safety reasons.
Once ready, we’ll dive in to follow a guided route through the reserve’s most spectacular coves, adapting the route depending on the wind conditions that day. We’ll glide effortlessly at a speed of around 3 km/h – the perfect pace for exploring amongst the rocks and observing marine life up close without startling it. It’ll be like having superpowers underwater.
We’ll have time to explore both the surface and mid-water zones, descending to a depth of 5 metres with complete freedom within the designated area. It’s time to enjoy the sensation of floating whilst the motor glides us through this underwater landscape. We’ll feel like real explorers discovering a whole new world without having to kick a single time.
After making the most of the battery and the experience, we’ll return to the starting point to share our best stories. In total, we’ll enjoy around 1 hour and 15 minutes of pure adventure at sea.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for ages 16 and over.
It is essential to know how to swim to take part in the experience.
The activity is not accessible for people with reduced mobility or in wheelchairs.
The experience is not recommended for pregnant women.
Other information
The excursion runs from May to September and is confirmed subject to a minimum of 6 participants.
The route may vary depending on the weather; the organisers will contact you to confirm the exact meeting point.
There is free parking in the area. In summer, parking can be difficult, so it is advisable to arrive in good time.
It is possible to get there by public transport, depending on where you’re coming from.
The organisers provide a locked trailer for storing small items, but they accept no liability for the loss or theft of personal belongings.
Any loss or damage to equipment used during the activity will incur a charge.
Pets are not permitted during the activity.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 15 days from the activity start date. Within 14 and 8 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
