Simultaneous paragliding for two over the coast of Sopelana

Flying alone is all well and good. .. but it's much more fun to do it with someone just as intrepid.

Take off on a simultaneous paragliding flight over Barinatxe Beach, in Sopelana, and experience an unforgettable adventure with whoever you want. Everyone flies with their own professional pilot, so close that you'll be able to see each other, shout and laugh just a few metres away.

Enjoy 30 minutes of pure emotion with the most spectacular views of the Bay of Biscay and the cliffs of the Biscayan coast.

What we will do

We will meet at the agreed time at the meeting point on Barinatxe Beach, in Sopelana, one of the most spectacular spots on the Biscayan coast. Our adventure will begin right there: the take-off is very close, so we will walk together for 5 or 10 minutes along an asphalted path that climbs up to the cliff. As we gain altitude, the sound of the sea mixes with the breeze. .. and we start to feel that we are about to do something exciting.

At the flying area, the pilots will meet us for a short briefing of about 5 minutes. They will explain how the take-off and landing will be and everything we need to know to enjoy the flight safely. Then it's time to get kitted out: helmet, harness, straps. .. a couple of running steps and suddenly the ground disappears from under our feet. We're flying!

The best thing about this experience is that 2 people will fly simultaneously, each with their own professional pilot, sharing the sky and the excitement. The gliders are held so close that we can see each other, smile at each other and even talk (loudly) to each other. It's an incredible feeling: floating together over the sea, just a few metres apart, while the wind carries us over a landscape that looks as if it has been painted.

For about 20 minutes we glide about 250 metres above the beach, with the Atlantic stretching to the horizon. On one side, the waves break against the cliffs of the Flysch of Bizkaia; on the other, you can see the port of Bilbao, and if the day is clear, even the Urkiola Natural Park and Mount Gorbeia, the giant of Bizkaia. We will fly alongside seagulls and, if we are lucky, we will see sharks gliding under the surface of the sea. A sight that is hard to forget.

If we feel like it, the pilots can add some acrobatic manoeuvres to give an extra touch of adrenaline to the flight. We will then descend gently to the sand and return together to the meeting point, probably with the biggest smile of the day.

In total, the experience lasts approximately 30 minutes, including the preparations and the flight.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is designed for everyone, with a maximum weight of up to 110 kg.

Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

If you are a person with reduced mobility or in a wheelchair, you can take part in the activity. You just need to inform the organisers in advance. You will receive the contact details in the email confirming your booking.

The experience is not suitable for pregnant women.

If you have heart problems or any doubts about the suitability of the experience, it is recommended that you consult a doctor before taking part in the activity.

Important: the paragliding flight depends on weather conditions, so the place and time of take-off may vary. The pilot will contact you the day before to confirm the details. You will find his contact details in the booking confirmation email.

You can fly every day from March to October.

Accompanying persons and their pets can wait at the meeting point.

Paid parking is available at the meeting point. It is also possible to arrive by public transport.
