If your plans in Altea don’t include a heart-pounding adrenaline rush, this is your cue to change your mind.
Enjoy a one-hour adventure as you leave the coast behind and rev up a 950cc engine on your way to the Sierra de Bernia. Drive along the winding tarmac road that climbs from Altea la Vella, devouring the bends until you reach the Los Paelleros viewpoint with a cold drink in hand. A shared adventure where the landscapes of the Costa Blanca aren’t just viewed from the beach; they’re conquered from behind the wheel.
What we will do
Our adventure begins at the exclusive Portosenso Marina in Altea, where we’ll meet 30 minutes before departure. After a compulsory safety briefing and learning how to handle these powerful vehicles, we’ll get ready to set off. We’ll feel the horsepower beneath us as we leave the harbour behind and begin the climb.
We’ll head out onto the most spectacular roads of the Sierra de Bernia, passing close to Altea la Vella. The route is 100% tarmac, ideal for enjoying a hassle-free drive as we navigate a series of twisting bends. As we gain altitude, we’ll feel the panoramic views of the Mediterranean becoming increasingly breathtaking.
We’ll reach the highest point at the Los Paelleros viewpoint, right in the heart of the mountains. We’ll make a strategic stop to stretch our legs, enjoy the included soft drink and capture stunning photos and videos with the coast at our feet. It’s the perfect moment to share our first impressions before beginning the descent.
Finally, we’ll begin the descent, enjoying a different perspective of the sea until we return to our starting point. In total, we’ll enjoy an hour-long experience of pure adrenaline and unforgettable scenery on the Costa Blanca.
Who it is aimed at
Suitable for everyone. No previous experience required.
The driver must be at least 18 years old and present a valid Category B driving licence (original, physical copy) . The licence must have been held for at least two years or, failing that, the driver must be over 25 years of age.
Any valid foreign driving licence is accepted.
For passengers, the minimum age is 7 years. Children under 10 must be tall enough to be properly secured with the vehicle’s seatbelt.
Minors must always be accompanied by an adult in the buggy.
The buggy is suitable for people in wheelchairs or with reduced mobility, as it is driven in a similar way to a car. If this applies to you, please notify the organisers in advance so that all necessary arrangements can be made.
Caution is advised if you have serious back injuries, due to the nature of the mountain route.

The activity is available to book every day of the year.
The experience takes place in a shared format, with participants setting off in a group with other adventurers.
The organisers have a new fleet consisting of three two-seater buggies and one four-seater buggy, limiting the group to a maximum of 10 people per trip. You can choose between a two-seater or four-seater buggy when making your booking.
The meeting point has free parking.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
