Rent your Paddle Surf board and design your own adventure in the crystal clear waters of Altea!
Enjoy a totally flexible 1, 2 or 3 hour rental to explore the heart of the Costa Blanca with absolute freedom. On this free route, you decide the course: sail towards the paradisiacal Isla de la Olla, skirt the calm waters of the Mascarat or get close to the Cap Negre, an imposing basaltic mass of volcanic origin. It is the ideal option for both beginners and experienced paddlers looking to connect with the sea with maximum autonomy.
What we will do
We will be met 10 minutes before the agreed time at the meeting point in the Marina Greenwich in Altea. After the introductions, we will receive a brief technical briefing of about 5 to 10 minutes where we will be explained how to adjust the paddle to our height, the correct posture to keep the balance on the board and the main safety recommendations inside the bay.
Right after, we will receive all the equipment for the adventure: the paddle surf board, the paddle and the life jacket. Once ready, we will slide into the water directly from the heart of the bay of Altea, leaving the shore behind to start exploring the Costa Blanca with absolute freedom and at our own pace.
During the contracted time, we will be the masters of our own course on a spectacular free route. We can paddle leisurely towards the idyllic Isla de la Olla, challenge our coordination near the cliffs of Mascarat or set course for Cap Negre, a spectacular rock formation of volcanic origin that offers breathtaking panoramic views from the sea.
After enjoying the sun, exercise and tranquillity of the Mediterranean, we will paddle back to the marina at the appointed time. At the base of operations, we will return the rental equipment and we will be able to use the changing rooms to change comfortably, saying goodbye with active muscles after having completed a magnificent 1, 2 or 3 hour free route.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is suitable for beginners.
The minimum age is 16 years old to go alone, or from 5 years old if accompanied by an adult.
It is not necessary to know how to swim, as the use of a life jacket is compulsory, but it is necessary to be comfortable and calm in the water.
There is a maximum weight limit of 110 kg per SUP board to ensure proper buoyancy.
For safety reasons, this experience is only recommended for pregnant women if the sea is calm, otherwise it is not recommended.
The activity is not accessible for people with reduced mobility or in wheelchairs.
Other information
Equipment hire is available all year round, every day, subject to sea conditions.
There are 10 boards available per shift.
The harbour has a paid car park (there are very few free spaces, which in high season fill up early in the morning) .
There are no direct public transport links to the area, so a car or taxi is recommended.
Pets are welcome on the route, as long as they are not too large and can be accommodated on the boat.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
