Dive among the wrecks of the Tarragona Underwater Park and explore the famous Dragonera and the marine habitat that surrounds it.

What we will do
The appointment is at the indicated time at the diving centre in Cambrils, in the province of Tarragona.
The instructor who will accompany us on our underwater excursion will be waiting for us. After a brief initial welcome, we will spend the first few minutes completing the medical self-declaration. Then, we will travel with the centre's van (included) to the dive site selected for the activity.
A briefing session of about 15 minutes will follow, during which we will go over the safety rules and discuss the details of the dive. After getting dressed, we will be ready to enter the water.
We will enter the sea from the shore, always under the supervision of the instructor. The dive will last approximately 1 hour, reaching a maximum depth of between 14 and 25 metres, depending on our certification.
The Tarragona Underwater Park area is a unique marine reserve of its kind, located in front of the city's port. Created in 1994 with the aim of promoting sustainable underwater tourism, it is home to more than 20 wrecks intentionally sunk to serve as artificial reefs and habitats for marine fauna. Among them, we will explore the most famous one: La Dragonera, a 65-metre merchant ship.
This moment will give us unique emotions and the possibility of spotting octopuses, cuttlefish, castanets, sea bream...
If we wish (and we have selected the corresponding option at the time of booking), we can also make a second dive.
Satisfied and happy, we will finally return to the starting point.
The total duration of the activity is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone aged 12 and over. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The activity is not suitable for pregnant women or people with heart or respiratory problems or who have recently undergone surgery. A medical self-declaration will need to be completed on site.
The experience is not available for wheelchair users or people with reduced mobility.
The activity is not suitable as a first dive: a diving certificate is required : open water or advanced open water.
Other information
The experience is available all year round, except December and January, and will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 2 participants.
During the activity, each instructor will be assigned a maximum of 6 participants. If you wish, you can participate with your own equipment. Otherwise it is possible to rent it at the dive centre for 20 euros, payable on site. If you don't have insurance, it can be purchased for 7 euros, also payable on site.
The dive centre has changing rooms and showers. Personal belongings can be left in the guarded storage room at the reception.
Accompanying persons can wait in the chill-out area of the dive centre next to the beach.
Dogs are allowed, provided they are kept on a leash.
Underwater diving is not recommended in the 24 hours prior to a flight.
The meeting point is accessible by public transport and free public parking is available.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
