Savour the essence of the Rías Baixas with a 4-hour sailing trip: the Rande Strait, the San Simón inlet, the rafts dotting the landscape. .. The Cíes Islands outlining the horizon.
Let yourself be carried away by the breeze and listen to the skipper as he tells you the best kept secrets of the estuary. An experience that will remain etched in your mind.
What we will do
The appointment will be 5 minutes before departure time at the meeting point in the port of Vigo. The skipper will welcome us and help us during boarding. Before setting sail, he will also explain the basic safety rules and how to behave on board during the crossing.
We will be on board a sailboat equipped with kitchen, fridge, solarium area, dinghy, paddle surf board and all the necessary details for a comfortable experience. We will sail as long as the wind permits, while discovering the unique landscapes of the Vigo estuary.
The itinerary will depend on what the group prefers and, above all, on the weather and the wind, but nothing will prevent us from discovering the essence of the Rías Baixas, full of history and legend in equal parts. The skipper will share with us curious facts about the Parque Nacional das Illas Atlánticas, the Rande Strait, the San Simón inlet and the mussel beds that dot the estuary.
During the tour, we can decide with the group whether to stop for a swim and relax in the sea, before heading back to the port. The activity will last a total of 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The excursion is suitable for all ages.
Minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible. People with mobility problems can participate if they are able to board with the assistance of accompanying persons.
Other information
It is possible to do the shared excursion from Easter to October. The experience is confirmed when a minimum group of 4 participants is reached .
The experience does not include food and drink, but you are welcome to bring your own if you wish.
On board it is advisable to be barefoot or wear white rubber-soled shoes to avoid slips and stains on the deck.
The model of the boat may vary depending on the group and availability. All available boats are fully equipped to guarantee the best experience.
As this is a shared excursion, it is not possible to participate with pets.
Paid parking is available in the immediate vicinity of the harbour. It is also possible to reach the area by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 15 days from the activity start date. Within 14 and 8 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
