A kayak route to let yourself be carried away by the whispers of the Ebro.
This guided kayak route around the Illa de Gràcia takes you to discover the most natural and silent side of the Ebro Delta. You will paddle among poplars, birds and waters full of life, in the heart of the Biosphere Reserve.
Immerse yourself in the most serene and genuine heart of the Ebro. A landscape that flows with you and that can be discovered without haste. Are you coming?
What we will do
The appointment will be 15 minutes before the booking time at the Sant Jaume d'Enveja jetty. Our monitor and guide will be waiting for us there to explain how the experience will take place.
We will get into the organisation's van that will take us to the starting point of the route: the small and picturesque village of Balada, just in front of the Illa de Gràcia. Once there, we will receive the equipment (waistcoat, kayak and paddle) and we will have a brief briefing on how to paddle, safety rules and the planned route.
The route will take place along the right side of the island, the most interesting in terms of landscape. We will paddle through riverside forests and protected species of the Ebro Delta Natural Park, declared a Biosphere Reserve. We will see white poplars, tamarinds, storks and grey herons.
We will follow our guide as we skirt the island until we reach a river beach, where we can make a brief stop for a swim or a rest.
Afterwards, we will return to the Sant Jaume jetty, completing a route of about 4 km. We will paddle back to the starting point after 1 hour in the waters of the Ebro.
The experience will last a total of 1 hour and a half.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitablefor all ages from 5 years old.
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
It is compulsory to know how to swim.
The maximum weight per person is 110 kg.
The activity is not recommended for pregnant women or people with serious injuries . If you have any doubts about the suitability of the activity, we advise you to consult your doctor.
People with motor disabilities may participate if they are autonomous or participate with companions who can assist them.

The activity is only available in high season, which may vary depending on the year. Check the calendar for available dates.
There are 3 single kayaks and 13 double kayaks that can be used as triples for 2 adults and a child up to 10 years old in the middle.
There are no changing rooms, toilets or valuables storage areas on site. We advise you to arrive prepared and leave your belongings in your own car or in the organiser's vehicle.
It is possible to rent waterproof bags for the price of 1 euro. It is also possible to buy waterproof mobile phone cases and backpacks. Ask the organiser for more information, you will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
Free parking is available in the vicinity of the meeting point. The area is difficult to reach by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
