Get off the beaten track and discover the Lanzarote that doesn't appear on postcards.
Drive through inland villages such as Tenezar, La Uga, Güime and Tinajo, and combine the agricultural and volcanic landscape with stops on the south coast, such as Playa Quemada, Puerto Calero and La Santa. A private 5-hour experience where history, tradition and landscape blend at your own pace.
What we will do
You will meet your guide 10 minutes before the agreed time at the meeting point in Playa Blanca, where the guide will be waiting for you with the 4×4 vehicle in which the route will begin. After a brief welcome, you will start the tour going into the interior of the island, away from the most touristy areas.
The first part of the route will take you through Tenezar, a small rural hamlet surrounded by volcanic fields, where you can still breathe the agricultural essence of the island. You will continue through La Uga and Güime, small farming villages where time seems to move at a different pace, and where you will get privileged views of the volcanic landscape and the contrast between the black earth and the crops. Along these paths, the guide will tell you how the first settlers learned to live with the lava, building villages and fields in one of the most extreme environments in the Atlantic.
You will continue on to Tinajo, one of the most important rural centres in the interior, from where you can enjoy wide views of the western volcanic landscape. From there, the route opens up towards the coast, alternating rural roads with coastal stretches to show the constant contrast of the island.
You will reach Playa Quemada, a small fishing village with a tranquil atmosphere, before continuing on to Puerto Calero, where the volcanic landscape merges with the ocean and the marina. Finally, you will travel along the west coast to La Santa, a coastal village with a rustic character and a strong local identity.
All along the route you will make stops to enjoy the scenery, take photos and delve into the history, culture and rural life of Lanzarote, always adapting the pace and itinerary to your interests. After completing the route, you will return to the starting point after approximately 5 hours, in a private, authentic and fully customisable experience.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for all ages. Ideal for couples, families or small groups of up to 6 participants per vehicle.
Minors must always be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Suitable for people with reduced mobility and wheelchair users, as no strenuous walking is required. Prior notice must be given to the organisers. You will receive the contact details in your booking confirmation email.

There is free parking in the area and the meeting point is accessible by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
