Come and discover the Badía del Fangar and its mussel tradition with a guided paddle surfing route.
Explore the area on a 2-hour tour for the whole family . The complete tour will allow you to sail under the structures used to cultivate oysters and mussels, discover the imposing 20-metre lighthouse and spot birds such as flamingos, grey herons and cormorants.
Immerse yourself in the culture and nature of the Ebro Delta.
What we will do
Our appointment will be at Port de les Muscleres, located in front of the Badía del Fangar, 10 minutes before 10 am.
We will start with a training session on safety and technique, in which the instructors will prepare us to make the most of the experience. It will take about 10 minutes and we will be ready to start paddling. From our SUP boards, our attention will immediately be drawn to the Fangar lighthouse: a 20-metre guardian that rises imposingly among the dunes to the northeast of the bay. Undoubtedly, one of the architectural emblems of the area.
Our instructor will guide us in the discovery of one of the most beautiful areas of the Ebro Delta, sailing under the undisputed protagonists of the bay: the mussel beds or muscleres. To regain our strength, we will stop for about 45 minutes at the Mirador Badía, a peculiar restaurant located on top of one of these structures, accessible only from the sea.
If we wish, we can enjoy a tasting of local mussels accompanied by wine, cava or soft drinks. It will also be possible to see many of the aquatic birds present in the area and, to round off the adventure, go down the slide located on one of the platforms.
The route will be circular and will last a maximum of 2.5 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity can be done from 4 years of age.
Between the ages of 4 and 12, children must be accompanied by a responsible adult and will be on the same board. If they are able to paddle on their own, they can participate with a signed permit from the age of 12.
It is not essential to know how to swim, but it is necessary to feel comfortable in the water.
People with mobility problems should inform the organisers in advance so that they can adapt the activity if they consider it necessary.
Other information
The activity runs from April to October and will be confirmed if a minimum of 6 participants is reached.
There is free parking at the starting point and the route is circular, so you will return to the starting point.
The tasting at the Mirador Badía restaurant has an extra price of 12 euros per person. Access to the structure without a drink costs 5 euros per person.
The route may be subject to variations depending on weather conditions.
It is advisable to leave dry clothes and towel in the car.
At the end of the activity you will receive the photos taken during the route.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
