Sail through the most inaccessible corners of the Ebro Delta and get in tune with nature.
The Buda Island and Migjorn route is undoubtedly the most fascinating way to discover the biodiversity of the Ebro Delta Natural Park. You will sail surrounded by vegetation, you will contemplate the extensive rice fields and you will go around the extraordinary island of Buda until you reach the old mouth of the river.
Migjorn beach and its viewpoint, with privileged views over the Bassa de l'Alfacada, will put the finishing touch to a perfect experience for everyone. You'll be amazed!
What we will do
We will have to arrive 10 minutes before the start of the route next to the old boat crossing known as the Buddha's Barge.
The instructors will give us a 10 minute talk about safety and technique with all the indications to enjoy the route on the paddle surf board. We will approach the Ebro river for a moment and we will be able to watch it as it flows towards the sea. Afterwards, we will return through the Migjorn channel towards the south, bordering the impressive island of Buda.
We will be surrounded by silence and peace, while we discover the peculiar biodiversity of the area thanks to the explanations of the expert guide. We will be surprised by the immensity of the rice fields, which change colour depending on the season, and we will flow with the canal until we reach the old mouth of the Ebro.
As a final stage, we will arrive at Migjorn beach to take a dip in the Mediterranean and observe the birds that inhabit the Bassa de l'Alfacada lagoon from the viewpoint.
The route will last a maximum of 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity can be done from 4 years of age.
Between the ages of 4 and 12, children will be accompanied and will share the board with an adult. From the age of 12, and if they are able to paddle on their own, they can participate with a signed permit.
It is not essential to know how to swim, but it is necessary to feel comfortable in the water.
People with mobility problems should inform the organisers in advance so that they can adapt the activity if they consider it necessary.
Other information
The activity runs from April to October and will be confirmed if a minimum of 8 participants is reached.
There is free parking at the starting point and there will be a transfer service for drivers from the end of the route to the starting point.
The route may be subject to variations depending on weather conditions.
It is advisable to leave dry clothes and a towel in the car.
At the end of the activity you will receive the photos taken during the route.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
