Discover the secrets of the Cabo de Palos Marine Reserve without getting wet or using snorkelling equipment, and enjoy a privileged window to the seabed as you sail past the iconic lighthouse on an unforgettable 2-hour guided kayak tour.
What we will do
We will meet 15 minutes before the agreed time at our meeting point, located very close to the Levante Beach in Cratagena. As soon as we arrive, we will be welcomed and given a technical talk where we will learn how to handle the paddle and the safety rules necessary to sail with total confidence.
After getting ready. .. get on the water! We will get into the kayaks and start paddling calmly following the coastline towards the Cabo de Palos lighthouse. During the crossing, we will pass by curious rock formations such as the Cala del Pato, while we enjoy the unique sensation of seeing the underwater world moving directly under our feet thanks to the transparent hull.
If the sea allows us, we will reach Cala Fría to let ourselves be enveloped by the surroundings just below the silhouette of the lighthouse; if the wind blows strongly, we will seek refuge in the calm of Cala Túnez. At this point, we will stop for about 30 minutes for those who wish to dive with goggles and snorkel and explore the vibrant ecosystem of the Marine Reserve by snorkelling .
We will paddle our way back in a leisurely manner, while our guides tell us stories about how the sediments have transformed this landscape and reveal interesting facts about the village. We will take advantage of this last stretch to observe the local fauna and flora through the glass, discovering those small details that often go unnoticed from the surface.
Finally, we will return to the starting point to leave the equipment and say goodbye with the satisfaction of having experienced a different adventure. In total, we will enjoy a deep connection with nature in an experience of approximately 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for all ages from 10 years old.
Minors must always be accompanied by an adult in the same kayak.
The maximum weight allowed is 95 kg per person for safety and buoyancy reasons.
Pregnant women are not recommended to participate.
The experience is not suitable for people with reduced mobility or in wheelchairs.
It is not compulsory to know how to swim, although it is advisable to feel comfortable in the water.
Other information
The tour is available from May to October and is confirmed with a minimum of 6 participants.
During July and August there is a special 1 hour sunset tour which you can select at the time of booking.
All kayaks available are double kayaks.
Free parking is available in the surrounding area, although in summer it is very busy and early arrival is recommended.
It is possible to arrive close to the meeting point by public transport.
Pets are not allowed.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 15 days from the activity start date. Within 14 and 8 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
