A different plan to get to know the fantastic nature of the Ebro.
You will enjoy a unique trip around the island of Gràcia with this 2-hour kayak route. Perfect for discovering the biodiversity of the area with an expert instructor and accessible for the whole family: learning, relaxation and fun.
To round off the trip, you'll go down to the Lo Passador bridge, one of the most recent architectural emblems of the Ebro. You won't regret it!
What we will do
Our instructor will meet us 10 minutes before the start of the route at a strategic point on the banks of the Ebro and in front of the island of Gracia.
We will attend a brief training session to learn the main safety rules and how to guide the kayak. In about 10 minutes we will be ready to start paddling around the island of Gracia. First we will paddle upstream, until we reach the westernmost point of the route, and then we will descend along the southern bank of the river, opposite the village of Balada.
We will make small stops to enjoy the surroundings and the expert monitor who will accompany us will explain the natural attractions of the area. We will be able to admire how the vegetation extends to the shore: a riverside forest where everything from reeds to white poplars grow. Among the fauna of this point of the Ebro, birds such as the grey heron and the cormorant, and fish such as the gilthead bream and the sea bass, will be the stars of the show.
Once we have passed the western tip of the island, we will continue on to our final destination: the modern Lo Passador bridge.
The route will take a maximum of 2.5 hours .
Who it is aimed at
The activity can be done from 4 years of age.
Between the ages of 4 and 12, children will be accompanied and will share the kayak with an adult. From the age of 12, and if they are able to handle the kayak on their own, they can participate with a signed permit.
It is not essential to know how to swim, but it is necessary to feel comfortable in the water.
People with mobility problems should inform the organisers in advance so that they can adapt the activity if they consider it necessary.
Other information
The activity runs from April to October and will be confirmed if a minimum of 8 participants is reached.
There is free parking at the starting point and there will be a transfer service for drivers from the end of the route to the starting point.
The route may be subject to variations depending on weather conditions.
It is advisable to leave dry clothes and a towel in the car.
At the end of the activity you will receive the photos taken during the route.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
