Do you like to feel at one with nature? Then this route is for you.
Probably the most evocative kayak tour in the Ebro Delta Natural Park: surrounded by vegetation in one of the most inaccessible and wildest environments in the area. You will sail immersed in peace and tranquillity, bordering the island of Buda and observing the immense rice fields, until you reach the old mouth of the Ebro and Migjorn beach.
An almost religious experience in one of the most special places to get in touch with nature. Dare to live it!
What we will do
We will meet 10 minutes before the start of the route at the old boat crossing known as the Buddha's Barge.
We will start with a short 10 minute talk about safety and technique. Once we know all the rules of the activity and we can handle our kayak with ease, we will paddle to the Ebro river to contemplate its grandeur as it flows towards the sea. We will then return along the Migjorn channel to skirt the island of Buda, one of the wildest and most inaccessible corners of the Ebro Delta.
We will sail immersed in tranquillity and silence, surrounded by vegetation and discovering the interesting biodiversity of the area thanks to the explanations of the expert guide. We will be surprised by the attractive beauty of the wide rice fields, which will be shown in different colours depending on the time of the year, and we will go down to the old mouth and the Migjorn beach.
To conclude the route, a refreshing dip in the Mediterranean and a visit to the Migjorn viewpoint, a strategic point for observing the Bassa de l'Alfacada and discovering the birds that inhabit this particular environment.
The route will last a maximum of 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity can be done from 4 years of age.
Between the ages of 4 and 12, children will be accompanied and will share the kayak with an adult. From the age of 12, and if they are able to handle the kayak on their own, they can participate with a signed permit.
It is not essential to know how to swim, but it is necessary to feel comfortable in the water.
People with mobility problems should inform the organisers in advance so that they can adapt the activity if they consider it necessary.
Other information
The activity runs from April to October and will be confirmed if a minimum of 8 participants is reached.
There is free parking at the starting point and there will be a transfer service for drivers from the end of the route to the starting point.
The route may be subject to variations depending on weather conditions.
It is advisable to leave dry clothes and a towel in the car.
At the end of the activity you will receive the photos taken during the route.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
