Challenge your balance and walk on the waters of the Tormes in an experience where the calm of the river and sport meet!
Experience the thrill of Paddle Surfing in Ledesma, a refreshing and safe activity designed for everyone to enjoy. For 1 or 2 hours, test your coordination and strengthen your body as you glide on a board in a unique natural environment. It's the perfect plan to disconnect from stress, laugh with friends or family and discover the beauty of the river from a totally different perspective.
What we will do
We will meet the organisers at the agreed time at the meeting point in Ledesma, where we will be welcomed and equipped for the adventure. After receiving the equipment, we will walk about 300 metres upriver to get to the ideal starting point.
When we reach the shore, we will receive a brief briefing to learn the secrets of paddling and the keys to maintaining stability on the board. With the technique clear and the nerves of the beginning turned into desire, we will jump into the water to begin our 1 or 2 hour trip on the river Tormes (depending on the option chosen at the time of booking).
During the trip, the murmur of the water and the pulse of nature will envelop us as we test our coordination. We will sail calmly, observing the local fauna and passing under historical bridges that seem to watch over a river stopped in time.
We will enjoy the peace of the river while the silhouette of the historic centre of Ledesma accompanies us from above, giving us one of the best postcards of the area. With this image engraved on our minds and the satisfaction of having mastered the balance, we will paddle back to the starting point to finish this refreshing experience with totally renewed energy.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is suitable for beginners and profiles of all levels. No previous experience is required.
The minimum age is 14 years old. Minors must always be accompanied by an adult.
The weight limit is 100 kg for technical reasons of the board.
It is not strictly necessary to know how to swim, as the activity is done with life jackets.
It is not suitable for people with reduced mobility or in wheelchairs.
In the case of pregnant women, it is recommended that they consult their doctor beforehand.
Other information
The activity is available from April to October. During July and August, departures are on Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays; for the rest of the season, departures are scheduled on Sundays.
Free parking is available on site. The use of your own vehicle is recommended due to the infrequency of public transport.
SUP boards are individual.
The activity is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants and a maximum of 4.
The organisers have a container set up as a changing room and a basic shower (no hot water) . There are also public toilets available in the area.
Upon request, the organisers can take photographs of the experience.
Pets are allowed to participate (no specific waistcoat available) .
Accompanying persons can wait at the meeting point.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
