Full description
Activate the adventure mode and discover the Bardenas Reales on four wheels.
Experience 4 hours of off-road adventure, crossing ravines, canyons, endless plateaus and the most iconic formations of the Navarrese desert. Explore the Bardena Blanca, see Castildetierra up close and let the ochre landscape, the wind and the adrenaline envelop you in a unique experience.
What we will do
We will meet 10 minutes before the agreed time at the meeting point in Cascante, Navarra, where we will be met by the guide to start the preparation. We will sign the documentation, receive the helmets and have a 10 to 30 minute briefing, depending on the size of the group, to learn how to drive the buggy and the rules of the park.
With everything ready, we will set off towards the Bardenas Reales, a semi-desert landscape declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO. We will drive for about 2 and a half hours along authorised roads that cross canyons, ravines, clay and gypsum badlands, and unique natural viewpoints.
During the route we will make 3 or 4 interpretative stops to learn about the history, geology, fauna, flora and legends of the desert. In one of them we will stop at the Cabezo de Marijuán, from where the Bardena Blanca opens before us in a golden and endless panoramic view. Further on we will pass through the area of Cortinillas and the Cabezo de Piskerra, whose formations have been the scene of film and advertising shoots due to their almost unreal appearance.
The route will also take us to Castildetierra, the most iconic formation of the Bardenas Reales, whose silhouette rises above the desert like a symbol of the park. On the way back we will cross the rice fields, a surprising green contrast in the middle of the arid landscape, before continuing towards the Mejana del Ebro, where the vegetation and the change of colours announce the return to the base.
In total, we will experience 4 hours of adventure combining off-road driving, interpretative stops and direct contact with one of the most amazing landscapes in Spain.
Who it is aimed at
The driver must be at least 18 years old and in possession of a valid Spanish driving licence.
Passengers must be at least 6 years old.
Not recommended for children under 6 years of age, pregnant women (please consult beforehand) or people with back problems or reduced mobility.
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The route is suitable for all levels: beginners and experienced adventurers.
Other information
The experience is available all year round.
During the tour, driver and passenger can take turns driving, as long as both are of legal age and have a driving licence.
The organisers have 2, 4 and 6-seater buggies available .
Free parking is available in the area .
The meeting point is also accessible by public transport.
Accompanying persons not participating can wait in the vicinity of the meeting point.
Pets are not allowed.
The route can be privatised for an additional cost of 150 €, subject to availability (to be arranged directly with the organiser after booking) .
In the event of heavy rain or adverse weather, the activity may be rescheduled.
The Bardenas Reales is a protected area: the activity takes place only on authorised trails.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
