Ready to discover Doñana on four wheels?
A 4x4 tour is the best way to explore the Doñana National Park. From the village of El Rocío , you will drive through the northern area accompanied by a nature guide. You will discover marshes, marshlands and Mediterranean forests, as well as the historic Coto del Rey, with the possibility of observing countless species and even the habitat of the Iberian lynx .
Three and a half hours off-road through one of the most impressive natural areas in Europe, where every bend in the road hides wildlife and unique landscapes. Ready for an adventure?
What we will do
The appointment is at the meeting point in the village of El Rocío, about 20 to 25 minutes in advance. The nature guide and the off-road vehicle that will take us to discover the north of the Doñana National Park will be waiting for us there.
We will immediately receive some indications about the adventure that awaits us. We will start the 4x4 route crossing old royal hunting grounds to enter the Coto del Rey, if the conditions allow it. Here we will enjoy a unique landscape of Mediterranean bush, with the possibility of observing mammals and birds of prey that live in this privileged area.
Throughout the route, we will explore the marshes, the marshes and the forest, accompanied at all times by the guide, who will explain the flora, fauna, history and culture of Doñana.
We will make stops at the best places carefully chosen by the guide. Thanks to the telescope and the didactic material we will be able to better appreciate every detail, from the aquatic birds to the corners where the Iberian lynx or the imperial eagle move.
In the middle of the route we will stop for about 15-20 minutes to rest, have a drink in the bar and use the toilets. Then we will continue the adventure to discover the rich landscape that makes Doñana one of the most unique natural areas in Europe.
The total duration of the activity is approximately 3 hours and a half.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for all ages, but it is not advisable to participate with children under 3 years of age.
From the age of 16, minors may participate on their own with the authorisation of a legal guardian. Up to the age of 15, they must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Pregnant women and people with cervical or back problemsare advised against this experience.
People with mobility problems may receive assistance to get in and out of the 4x4, but it is necessary to take into account that there are no places for participants in wheelchairs.

The activity is available all year round and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 people.
There are 5 vehicles available for up to 8 participants.
Important: the 4x4 vehicles are not equipped with child seats or boosters. If you participate with children you will have to bring your own device.
It is not possible to enter the park with pets, so dogs are not allowed to participate in the experience.
Free public parking is available in the vicinity of the meeting point. It is also possible to reach the area by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
