Two snow-covered valleys and a motorbike to discover them.
On this 2-hour snowmobile route you will drive through the white landscapes of the Sierra de la Partacua, linking the Tena Valley and the Escarra Valley on tracks that flow between forests and hills. You will see the lakes of Las Paules and Escarra, reach an ancient glacial cirque and take a break in a shepherd's hut at 1, 900 m.
If you love the magic of the mountains in winter, you will love these 2 hours.
What we will do
The appointment will be 10 minutes before the reserved time, at the roundabout between Tramacastilla de Tena and Sandiniés. We will be in a privileged place, very close to Formigal and Panticosa.
The guide will be waiting for us to distribute the bikes and helmets and to start with a 10 minutes briefing during which he will teach us how to handle the bike and explain the safety rules (posture, distance between bikes and guide's signals) . After a few metres of practice, we will follow the guide in a line along the tracks of the Sierra de la Partacua and its two valleys: Tena and Escarra.
The route will take us to the Ibón de las Paules and the Ibón de Escarra. Following the guide's indications and if the conditions allow it, we will be able to get close to its frozen banks and enjoy the winter views.
In the Escarra valley we will be able to go into an old glacial cirque with walls that rise to more than 600 metres. We will also stop at an old shepherd's hut at an altitude of 1, 900 metres, perfect for photos and a well-deserved rest.
The snowmobile route will last approximately 2 hours, after which we will return to the starting point.
The total duration of the experience is 2. 5 hours.
Who it is aimed at
No experience is necessary and you can participate as a passenger from 5 years of age.
To drive the motorbike you must be at least 25 years old and have held a B driving licence for at least 1 year . Any foreign licence valid in Spain is accepted.
The activity is not accessible for people with motor disabilities.

Other information
The activity is available from approximately December to April. Please note that this is a weather dependent experience and may be subject to change at the discretion of the guide.
Accompanying persons who do not participate can stay in the village of Tramacastilla de Tena. They will have to take care of possible pets.
Free parking is available near the meeting point. The area is very difficult to reach by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
