Full description
You accelerate, the snow crunches under the bike and the Pyrenees appear before you like a white promise.
You will experience a 1-hour guided snowmobile tour through the Partacua mountain range, very close to Formigal and Panticosa. You will learn the basics in a few minutes and follow the guide through forests and snowy hills, with stops for photos and to admire the lake of Tramacastilla.
If you fancy a different, agile and safe plan, this is your one-hour getaway in the middle of the mountain. Are you up for it?
What we will do
The appointment will be 10 minutes before the booked time, at the roundabout between Tramacastilla de Tena and Sandiniés. The team will meet us there to confirm the booking and get ready with the necessary equipment.
We will start with a 10 minutes briefing on safety and handling of the snowmobile: posture, acceleration and braking, distance between bikes and signals from the guide. We will do a few metres of practice to gain confidence before starting the route, before setting off in line on authorised tracks in the Sierra de la Partacua, the Tena Valley and the Escarra Valley.
We will be in a privileged location, very close to Formigal and Panticosa. We will alternate between stretches of forest and open areas with stops for photos and to enjoy the surroundings. We will reach the lake of Tramacastilla, always following the indications of the guide.
Then we will return to the starting point. The snowmobile route will last approximately 1 hour.
The total duration of the experience is 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
No experience is necessary and you can participate as a passenger from 5 years of age.
To drive the motorbike you must be at least 25 years old and have held a B driving licence for at least 1 year . Any foreign licence valid in Spain is accepted.
The activity is not accessible for people with motor disabilities.

Other information
The activity is available from approximately December to April. Please note that this is a weather dependent experience and may be subject to change at the discretion of the guide.
Accompanying persons who do not participate can stay in the village of Tramacastilla de Tena. They will have to take care of possible pets.
Free parking is available near the meeting point. The area is very difficult to reach by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
