1-hour horse ride through the countryside of Albalate de Zorita

Give your stress a break and experience an hour of pure calm on the back of a horse!

Enjoy a 1 hour ride through the natural landscapes of Albalate de Zorita. Ride through pine forests, hills and fields while you enjoy the fresh air, the sound of hooves and the company of these noble animals. A simple, relaxing and perfect experience to reconnect with nature.

What we will do

We will meet about 5 minutes before the agreed time at the equestrian centre in Albalate de Zorita, in Guadalajara, where we will be met by the monitor who will accompany us throughout the activity. Upon arrival, we will get to know the facilities and, of course, the protagonists of the day: the horses, which will be ready and saddled to start the adventure as soon as possible.

We will be given the appropriate helmet and, before riding, the monitor will give us a brief explanation of how to handle the horse: how to get on and off, how to communicate with him and some basic safety notions to enjoy the ride even if it's your first time.

Once prepared, we will get on our horses and start the circular route around the surroundings of the equestrian centre. The ride lasts approximately 50 minutes and will take us through paths surrounded by pine forests, hills and fields, where depending on the time of year we can see almond trees in bloom, barley or wheat growing, and even local fauna such as roe deer, rabbits or typical birds of the area.

During the walk, we will ride in a row and at a leisurely pace, enjoying the scenery, the fresh air and the relaxing sound of hooves on the ground. At the end, we will return to the starting point with the feeling of having lived a simple but very special experience, perfect to disconnect from the routine and reconnect with nature.

In total, the activity lasts 1 hour, including the preparations and the initial briefing.

Who it is aimed at

The experience is suitable for children aged 5 and over. Minors can participate accompanied by an adult or with a signed authorisation.

The activity is easy, ideal even if it is your first time on horseback.

To participate, it is only necessary not to exceed 100 kg in weight.

The activity is not suitable for wheelchair users or pregnant women.

In case of reduced mobility requiring minimal assistance, participation is possible but you must inform the organisers in advance . You will receive the contact details in your booking confirmation email.

Other information

The activity is available all year round, from Tuesday to Sunday, and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.

The saddle used is English. The guide participates on horseback.

Accompanying persons not participating in the activity can wait at the equestrian centre.

If pets are not accustomed to the environment with horses, it is not recommended to bring them along. If you would like to bring them along, please contact the organisers beforehand. You will receive the contact details in your booking confirmation email.

As an optional extra, you can request a photo service with the horses. It includes a photo printed and framed on the spot (to be booked during the experience) .

Free parking is available on site.

The meeting point is not accessible by public transport.
