Renting a boat with a sailing licence in Altea can be a great idea to enjoy the Mediterranean. You can anchor in incredible coves and snorkel in areas such as Benidorm or Moraira. A great experience to live with your family or group of friends.

What we will do
We will meet at the Luis Campomanes Marina to start the adventure. We will have to arrive 15 minutes before the agreed time.
To begin with, we will receive a brief explanation with different questions we need to know about the boat and sailing. We will be told some basic safety rules and technical aspects for a better crossing.
The team will also tell us how far we can go to make the most of the trip, depending on the time and the day, they will tell us about the best places to anchor, as there is a westerly and an easterly wind.
Take the helm and set sail! We will be able to enjoy a very calm trip through the beautiful waters of the Altea Coast, we will find hidden coves where we can take a dip and we will be able to see incredible landscapes in the distance, such as Sierra Helada. We will be able to have a snack with a film backdrop.
In the middle of the navigation we will be able to make the stops that we feel like. In Benidorm or Moraira is always a good option, there is a wide variety of coves with perfect anchoring buoys to equip ourselves with snorkel and goggles and spend a unique time snorkelling.
We will be able to sail for 4 or 8 hours depending on the duration chosen during the booking. In July and August it is also possible to rent the boat for 2 hours to watch the sunset.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone. It is necessary to have a sailing licence or higher sailing licence.
The minimum age to take part in the trip is 2 years old.
People with mobility problems can do the activity, but wheelchairs cannot go on board. Please check with the organisers beforehand.
Other information
The activity is available all year round, except for the sunset excursion, which is limited to July and August.
You will sail on the Mingolla Brava 22 or the Allegra 21 Open, two 6-metre long boats with 115 hp. Both have capacity for 8 people and are equipped with awning, shower, ladder and bathing platform, fridge, table, loudspeaker and snorkelling mask.
Fuel is not included and will need to be refuelled before the boat is delivered.
A security deposit of 600 €is required and can be paid by credit card or in cash on the day of hire.
It is a petfriendlyactivity, your best friends can go with you. To bring them along, you have to pay a supplement on the day of the activity.
There is free parking at the port where you can park your car. It is recommended to call the organiser the day before to receive indications about parking in the area and the development of the activity.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
