No, we are not inviting you to become a pirate, but with the rental of a 6-metre Quicksilver 605 Open in Altea you will sail the same waters that many of them sailed during the 17th century. All you need is a sailing licence and a lot of desire for adventure. For 4 or 8 hours you can enjoy the surroundings at your own pace: Altea, Calpe, Jávea...
The Costa Blanca is a jewel full of history and surprising nature, where the turquoise and serene waters are the protagonists. Come and discover them!
What we will do
The adventure starts at the Luis Campomanes marina 30 minutes before the booking time (15 minutes if we also hire a skipper).
We will spend the first hour reminding you of the main safety rules and the technical aspects you need to know in order to sail smoothly. We will set sail aboard the Pinta or the Mawi, two Quicksilver 605 Open boats with 6 metres in length and 150 hp fully equipped.
We will be able to sail up to 5 miles from the port, so we will be able to see many charming places worth visiting. The Costa Blanca is full of coves and islands not easily accessible from land. We will also be able to appreciate certain whims of nature, such as the natural monument of Cap Negret, the result of a volcanic eruption 220 million years ago.
We can customise the itinerary as we wish. If we want to see the seabed while snorkelling, we cannot miss the posidonia meadows or the vermetids formations. La Olla, Racó del Corb or Mascarat are the best destinations.
As we are in places of strong ecological protection, the organisation will show us where to anchor in order to fully respect the environment. In any case, if any doubt arises, we can contact land by telephone.
The total sailing time will be 4 to 8 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone. To drive the boat it is necessary to have a sailing licence.
The boats are accessible and can be boarded with assistance for people with mobility problems. It is not possible to board in a wheelchair.
It is not advisable to sail with babies.
It is recommended that pregnant women and people with any pathology consult a doctor beforehand if the activity could pose a problem.

This activity is available all year round.
You will sail on a Quicksilver 605 Open boat with a length of 6 metres and 150 hp. The boats can accommodate up to 7 people and are equipped with portable coolers, awning, table, solarium and deck shower. In addition, there is a double extendable platform that facilitates entry and exit from the water. They include bluetooth speakers, snorkelling masks, GPS and depth sounder. There are two options:
- The Pinta, from 2023, with electric windlass and stainless steel bow rails.
- The Mawi, from 2025 (brand new!), with manual anchor and black bow bars.
You are allowed to bring food and drink on board. Pets are also allowed.
Smokingis not allowed on the boat and the skipper must not drink alcohol.
A security deposit of 750 euros is required and will be returned upon delivery of the boat in perfect condition. On returning to port, fuel must be refuelled and the fuel used must be paid for.
It is not possible to go ashore or within 200 metres of the shore.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
